About Workshop:

During this workshop we will work on both odissi technique and repertoire (warm-up, stepping, odissi item). The workshop is designed for students of intermediate level: an experience of minimum 1 year of learning is required.

The classes will be taught by Chloé Romero, a young budding Odissi dancer disciple of Guru Gangadhar Pradhan–India. She is now based in France where she is involved in teaching and promoting Odissi, while going back regularly to India to continue her training and to perform on stage. Workshop place : The workshop willl be placed at the dance school «La loge de l’avant-scène »in the town of Crès near to Montpellier. We will work in a vast room with AC, parking and a small kitchen. The place is accessible by tramway from the city center + 15 minutes by walk or 5 minutes by car (possibility of carpooling) Informations Schedule: 10.30am-1pm and 3-5pm everyday Lunch : you can bring your own food (there is a small kitchen at the dance school) or book an Indian veg thali (10 euros) Accommodation : we have some rooms available at private houses for 19 euros/night, including breakfast. It is single private rooms at safe places of people attending the workshop or related to us. Some rooms are close to the workshop place. Contact us in advance if you are interested. You can also find a range of hostels and hotels in the city, contact us for advices. Fees: Full Workshop–210 euros th Booking before 20th of May :180 euros/ Before 10of June195 euros To book your place an account of 60 euros is required and can be paid by account transfer.
