  Importing References into EndNote Web from TTUHSC Library Resources  Tip: You may need to temporarily disable your web browsers pop-up blocker while working with EndNote Web.  Importing References from EBSCO 1. Perform a search in anEBSCOdatabase. Click on theAdd to folderlink for any of the results you want to save.  2. Click theFolder Viewlink. Select the references you want to export and click on the Exporticon.  3. SelectDirect Export to EndNote Weband uncheck theRemove these itemsbox. Click the Savebutton.  4. The export will automatically open EndNote Web and import the references.  5. Your records will appear in the Unfiled Folder. We recommend that you selectUnfiledand move the references to an established folder.  Importing References from embase 1. Perform a search inembase. Select the references you want to export and click on the Exportlink.  2. SelectRIS format (EndNote)and click the Exportbutton. At the next screen, click on the Downloadbutton.  3. Log intoEndNote Web. Click on theCollect tab and selectImport References. 

4. Browse to find your .ris file. ClickChoose.  5. SelectRefMan RISfor the filter and select an established folder. Click on theImportbutton.  Importing References from Ebrary 1. Log intoebrarywith your ebrary account. Click onMy Settings. Select the box forShow EndNotebuttons.  2. Perform a search in ebrary. Select the reference you want to export and click on theEndNote button.  3. Log intoEndNote Web. Click on theCollect tab and selectImport References.  4. Browse to find your downloaded file. Click Choose.  5. SelectRefMan RISfor the filter and select an established folder. Click on theImportbutton.  Importing References from the TTUHSC Library Catalog 1. Log intoEndNote Web. Click on theCollect tab and selectOnline Search.  2. SelectTexas Tech U - HSCfor the Online Catalog/Database. Click on theConnectbutton. Perform a search.  3. Select the references you want to import and move the references to an established folder.  Importing References from OVID 1. Perform a search in anOVIDdatabase. Select the references you want to export and click on the Exportbutton.  2. SelectEndNotefrom the Export To pull-down menu and click on theExport Citation(s)button. 

3. Log intoEndNote Web. Click on theCollect tab and selectImport References.  4. Browse to find your downloaded file. Click Choose.  5. Select the name of the OVID database. Be sure to include the (Ovid SP)(i.e. MEDLINE (OvidSP) for the filterand select an established folder. Click on theImportbutton.  Importing References from PubMed 1. Perform a search inPubMed. Select the references you want to export and send them to theClipboard.  2. Open Clipboard to display the saved references. Change theDisplay Settingsoption from Abstract toMEDLINEand click theApply button.  3. SelectSave Asfrom your browser and select Text(.txt) as the file type. ClickSave.  4. Log intoEndNote Web. Click on theCollect tab and selectImport References.   5. Browse to find the .txt file that you saved. ClickChoose.  6. SelectPubMed (NLM)for the filter and select an established folder. Click on theImportbutton.  Importing References from Scopus 1. Perform a search inScopus. Select the references you want to export and click on the Exporticon.  2. SelectRIS format (EndNote)for Export format andCitations onlyfor the Output. Click theExportbutton.  3. Log intoEndNote Web. Click on theCollect tab and selectImport References. 
