Supplies

1 skein AslanTrends Litoral (110m/120yds, 50% acrylic, 50% polyamide)

1 pair 10.0mm (US 15) straight needles

Finished measurements

Approximately 40" by 9" using one skein as written. This yarn does not need blocking. For

more length or width, use two or more skeins.

Gauge is not critical for this project.

Instructions

Cast on 26 stitches. If you want a wider scarf, you can cast on more. Make sure your cast-on

number is a multiple of 4 + 2. (e.g., 6x4 = 24 +2 = 26).

Rows 1 and 2: Knit all stitches.

Row 3: K1, *yo, k2tog* rep from * to last st, k1.

Row 4: K1, p across to last st, k1.

Row 5: K1, *k2tog, yo* rep from * to last st, k1.

Row 6: As row 4.

This pattern creates eyelet mesh with a one-stitch garter border on either edge. Repeat

rows 3-6 until you have approximately 2m (2yds) of yarn remaining.

Next two rows: Knit all stitches.

Bind off all stitches, weave in all ends, and enjoy.
