Respect Others. Show concern for others. Treat people well, and be kind to them. Think about how YOUR behaviors are affecting others, and act accordingly. Be a good citizen. Learn about those who are different from you, and appreciate them. Don’t judge people or discriminate against them. Act in a way that helps create a positive community.
Respect Authority. Treat faculty and staff (including student staff members) appropriately. Follow their advice and directives, because if they are telling you to do something, it is probably in your best interest (even if you don’t think so at the time). Follow policies and procedures, and you will find yourself getting through things much more easily.
Respect Property. We provide all kinds of stuff (furniture, athletic equipment, facilities, etc.) to make your Stout experience better. Take care of it - treat things with care. If it breaks or is damaged, tell someone and get it fixed or replaced. We specifAicallyLwantCto meOntion oeHuxrpectOationsLregardUing alScohoEl.use On some campuses, drinking is often part of the social life for students, but misuse of alcohol isgar owing problemIf.you read the previous expectations, you will realize that if you choose to drink alcohol, you will impact yourself and other people. Most of the time, this impact is negative. UW-Stout is taking an aggressive approactho under-age drinking and alcohol abuse. There will be financial and educationcaolnsequences for students who violate alcohol poli-cies. We want you to be aware of this before you co ou come to UW-Stout, we want you to have fune najnoy yourself,7 you need to do this irensponsible ways.
