Tutorial 1: My First Plot 1.1 Introduction This tutorial will show how to input a simple set of data into a workshee M t y n D a at m a e,d create a 2D plot name M d yFirstPlot , input the worksheet data into the 2D plot and finally visualize the data by autoscaling the graph. 1.2 My First Worksheet Although there are much more elaborate ways to input data into SciGraphica, let us start with some "Hello World like stuff. " Start SciGraphica by the command sga (e.g., from some shell window). The program's main window will appear on the screenFi (gure 1). For the first, we do not care about t menu or the button bar, we first try what we can do with the worksheet icon named Data1 which is containe within the tabbed panel.
