Russia faces a timetrial: the adaptation of its innovation system is a key point of its development. In order to decrease the Russian dependence on energy exports, innovation is a privileged way for diversification. Strong of a scientific potential that survived the transition era, Russia is still looking for an innovation model that would enable it to successfully fit into the world economy. Even though heavy structural problems still do exist, there are plenty of examples of initiatives. And partnership opportunities as well. This seminar aims at a better understanding of the current situation and, through experience sharing, at the identification of the future processes.
