Die Verfasser geben eine Übersicht vom Material, Mobiliar, von der Bibliothek, der einfachen Drogen, der galenischen Zubereitungen und vergleicht sie mit den zeitgenössischen Schriftwerke.
The practice of the art of the apothecary in the 17 th century : information provided by two post-mortem inventories.
Two post-mortem inventories, from two apothecaries, J. Congnard and J. Le Chandelier, who died respectively in 1682 and 1688, provide much information on the practice of the profession in Rouen. The authors draw up a catalogue of material, furniture, books, simples (uncompounded drugs) and Galenic preparations from the two dispensaries and compare them with works.

Abstract

The practice of the art of the apothecary in the 17 th century : information provided by two post-mortem inventories.

Two post-mortem inventories, from two apothecaries, J. Congnard and J. Le Chandelier, who died respectively in 1682 and 1688,

provide much information on the practice of the profession in Rouen. The authors draw up a catalogue of material, furniture,

books, simples (uncompounded drugs) and Galenic preparations from the two dispensaries and compare them with works.
