Description

This political science study visits the hot-button topics of the day and describes what’s necessary to maintain freedom and independence in the United States.
“We the People” have had it pretty good since WWII. Our prosperity has resulted in our collective apathy toward the corrupt progression of what once were servants of the People into life-long “career politicians” in Washington, D.C. who have become our elite political ruling class.

Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Today in our United States we have an all-powerful central government enabled by a subservient media propelling our nation toward the living hell described in George Orwell’s 1984 where truth cannot be found—where freedom does not exist.

Upside Down clearly defines the immediate action “We the People” can and must take to restore what used to be our government of, by, and for the people. If we choose to continue to sit on the sidelines and not get involved, we will transition from apathy to dependence and out of that dependence will come the bondage from which we rose 239 years ago.

PREFACE
FREEDOM CANNOT EXIST IN THE ABSENCE OF TRUTH
Our nation is dying. You know it. You feel it. The American people—We the People—have lost control of our own country. We fought a forty year long cold war to allegedly stop the spread of Soviet-style totalitarian Socialist/Marxist/Communist/Fascist oppression, only to now see this evil take root right here in the United States. Due to our complacency and apathy after World War II we neglected our duty as citizens to keep a watchful eye on our own government. Our self-anointed rulers seem to forget that the Revolutionary War was fought specifically to free the Colonies from totalitarian British oppression as evidenced by “career politicians” who seek to establish “their” version of permanent oppressive totalitarian central government in Washington, D.C. Those who want to be life-long members of our elite political ruling class believe not in government of, by, and for the people; they are steadily moving toward totalitarian government operating in spite of the people.
This is how freedom slips away.
Like it or not, admit it or not, our beloved nation is currently struggling with our second civil war. This time it is not to prevent certain states from seceding from the Union over issues such as a slave-driven economy. This time our civil war has several fronts. One battle line is between “We the Taxpaying People” and proponents of Big Government, both Republicans and Democrats, who want to maintain their status as our elite political ruling class. It would be prudent for all of us in this country to understand that the larger government gets the smaller We the People become, and a government big enough to give us everything we want is big enough to take away everything we have.
It must be said early on that it is never appropriate for our government to lie to us. It is never acceptable for Republicans to lie to cover for other Republicans just like it is never acceptable for Democrats to lie to cover fellow Democrats. If our government lies to us for any reason, our taxes are effectively being used against us as our government becomes an illegitimate, unsustainable monstrosity engaged in its own self-preservation. This is unconstitutional tyranny against We the People.
The term upside down perfectly describes what Big Government has become in direct opposition to our Constitution, which defines our government’s very specific, very limited scope and authority. Furthermore, upside down also describes the reality of the nature of “the Beast” (Reagan-era description for big central government) in stark contrast to what Big Government proponents claim is its true nature. The reality is the Beast only wants to grow larger and more powerful for all the wrong reasons, which is exactly upside down from the propaganda we hear every day that Big Government has the best interest of We the People at heart. The Beast claims it works for what it self-servingly defines as the “common good” as it sucks the life out of the economy and makes us all poorer—ensuring we all eventually become dependent on the Beast as it decides who gets to win, who deserves to lose, who is allowed to prosper, and who is not. The Beast claims it is on the people’s side when in reality it sees We the People not as its creator and employer, but as nothing more than living assets off which it feeds and grows as its subjects exist only to sustain it and perform its bidding. This is exactly upside down from the spirit and intent of our Constitution, which was written specifically to prevent limited central government from becoming the Beast into which it has evolved.
One of the big economic debates during the Reagan years was which comes first—shrinking the size of government, then cutting taxes, or cutting taxes, which forces reduction in Big Government and the tyranny and corruption that always coincides with too much central power. Unfortunately the Beast has become so large it has taken on a life of its own and operates in spite of the people it has enslaved in part so it can effectively protect past and present members of our socio/economic/political ruling class who have committed heinous crimes against us. The Beast maintains control over what has become a dependent and servile people by administering what Franklin Delano Roosevelt called the “narcotic” that is financial handouts, which have the effect of building dependence on Big Central Government that ensures complacency and apathy toward the rising tide of governmental tyranny in these United States. The Beast molds our children’s perception of reality with the illusion of an education that consists of a systematic brainwashing that dependence on Big Government is perfectly acceptable, as is hatred for those who have worked to build successful businesses outside the cocoon of the Big Central Government nanny state. The Beast is out of control and needs to be starved until it no longer threatens the freedom, sovereignty, and security of what was the original version of the United States of America. Ironically, the Beast claims it needs to get bigger, more powerful, and more intrusive into our daily lives to fight the very “terrorism” it created. Feeding the Beast through continued unlimited funding will ultimately result in the end of all of our freedoms and liberties coincident with the end of U.S. sovereignty.
The Beast’s “global initiative” is to dominate and subjugate the world—through central financial and social control.
A second battle line in what has evolved into our second civil war is the conflict between Big Government and private industry. This battle between Big Government and private business and industry also results in the complete insanity of Big Government fighting and demonizing capitalist private enterprise, which is the only source of real, sustainable jobs and real, sustainable tax revenue into the U.S. Treasury. Big Government propagandists want us to believe that Big Government can “create” jobs when nothing could be further from the truth. Not only is Big Government totally incapable of “creating” real, sustainable, tax-generating jobs, some of the 587 federal bureaucracies, whose sum total defines the Beast, replace real, sustainable private jobs, while others literally destroy real, sustainable private jobs through millions of pages of anti-energy/anti-business red tape and overregulation. The ultimate insult is our bloated, out-of-control federal government uses our hard earned tax dollars against us as federal bureaucracies kill private industry as well as businesses, both large and small, that support what little is left of our decimated industrial base. The true irony is big, inefficient, corrupt, self-serving central governments always become suicidal as they kill private industry and sustainable, tax revenue-generating industry and jobs. Ironically, Big Governments always foolishly cut off their only source of sustainable funding which they want to grab and redistribute in their effort to maintain and expand their own power at the expense of We the People. The suicidal reductions in tax revenues has been temporarily offset by creating a dangerous false economy by simply printing trillions of dollars out of thin air and that, my dear friends, is not sustainable . The result is Big Government has been winning while private enterprise and We the People lose, as evidenced by the added insanity of annual trillion-dollar deficits due to an out-of-control federal government that blows though $10 billion a day , billions of that Beastly number deficit spending, some of which is borrowed from unfriendly nations like China. If Big Government is such a blessing, why do we have $18 trillion in national debt?
