Technology todayand beyond
Radios, televisions and computers were once new technologies. They changed the world and made it easier for people to communicate and learn. They also provided new forms of entertainment.
Today, people are inventing new technologies faster than ever. They include 3-D printers, drones, robots and more. One day, people might travel in fully self-driving vehicles. Jet packs could become a popular way to travel through the air.
But using new technology isn’t always perfect, and it can come with risks. Problems in a medical device can cause health risks. In self-driving vehicles, problems could cause crashes that harm people.
