I am a published Craft Designer. I belonged to the Society of Craft Designers. I have taught crafts in adult education classes as well as children. It was great fun working as craft director at summer camp. Worked selling and marketing craft supplies and taught crafts to other sales people.
 
My faith is a very important part of my life and I felt led to write a book connecting crafts and faith. It is surprising how a faith based craft project opens up an opportunity to share your faith with others. Crafts with a faith base such as children’s books, glove nativity puppet and Easter scene can really imbed these things in a child’s mind. Doing faith based crafts while crafting with adults can give you the opportunity to share your faith with them. I feel a family’s faith can be enhanced by crafting together.
 
It is my hope that this book will inspire your faith and creativity and perhaps encourage the child’s faith walk. If you get some joy and inspiration from this book it will have been well worth the effort.

FABRIC AND HOME DÉCOR

Dove Pillow
Supplies
If pillow is 18” or less
White wool felt 12” square
Beacon’s Fabri –Tac glue
Matching thread fabric glue
Pillow form or polyester stuffing
 
Instructions
1.Measure pillow and cut piece adding 1’ on all sides for front pillow piece
2.Cut 2 pieces ½ the size of front adding 2” on each piece for overlap
3.Turn edges of overlap for hem unless using felt
4.Sew pillow pieces together right sides facing
5.Trim corners and turn right side out
6.Cut 2 doves of white felt
7.Glue doves in place using Beacon Fabri-Tac glue
8.Stuff pillow or insert pillow form through overlapped opening in middle back.
