Description

A book to magnify the imagination and wonder of adventure. Huckleberry and Sunny has the warmth, charm and humour of Babe coupled with the descriptive subtleties of Roald Dahl.
You might wonder how a kind-hearted shaggy haired, black horned goat became best friends with a raggedy cat. It really is a wonderous tale and one which I am about to tell. Huckleberry and Sunny were born for adventure and the tale of the troublesome tractor introduces the first in a three book series depicting the developing friendship and wonderous bemusement at the misadventures of their friend the farmer, seen through the eyes of the two animal companions. They have many friends and associates on the farm described in detail to magnify the imagination of both reader and storyteller alike.

Y ou might wonder how a kind-hearted, shaggy-haired, black-horned goat became best friends with a raggedy cat. It really is a wondrous tale.
On a farm near the Picos Mountains lived a hard-working farmer who tended his herd of goats with love and care every day. He knew each goat by name and looked forward to springtime, when the bleating of newborn kids (that’s the term for baby goats) would pierce the early-morning mist and signal the arrival of new life and more goats. The farmer relied on the goats for milk that he could turn into cheese and sell to provide for his family. They also gave him fur that he could sell at the market to make clothing for the locals. After all, it did get cold in the winter under the shadow of a large mountain, and the locals wanted to keep warm.
