1.
Who would want a nickname like Scattergorious, and why? I guess it is because I am so unlike my family. My real name is Sammy Stucco.
My mom is called Polly, and of course she is perfect in every way. Not a hair on her head is out of place. Her makeup freshly applied on her face each day. Everything in the house has its correct place. All furniture is polished daily, and ornaments sparkle, as do mirrors and all kitchen appliances.
You could eat your supper off the floors, they are so clean! Mom smiles from the east to the west with gleaming white teeth and buzzes around the household, busying herself with various chores and her arts and crafts, which she loves to do. Her garden—well, do I need to tell you about that? Yes, you say? She places every plant according to its color—green, red, yellow, purple, and white. And there’s not a weed in sight—no, not in Mom’s garden!
I have yet to learn the names of the plants, but I guess she has plans to teach me soon.

2.
My dad’s name is Joe. He cleans and polishes the cars every Friday evening, and you can see your face in the hoods they shine so! His garage is so tidy. Every tool is in its place, and there isn’t a cobweb in sight. His office and man cave are immaculate too. He has files, and he knows exactly where to go and find what he needs. He has pictures of himself playing golf and trophies from high school when he played soccer. On his walls are pictures of our family and relatives.
