PREFACE
I was gardening in my yard one summer day and began to watch an ant crawling nearby. I began to ponder the ‘ant’ and how they go daily unconcerned, living out their small lives and often ‘being stepped on’ by humans, who give little or no thought to its small life.
I began to think of the tiny ant creature and created the story of a ‘little magical red ant. I began writing from a part of me that thought, ‘it does not matter who you are in this life, or where you come from, or your beliefs, because much like the ‘ant’, which is small and insignificant to most, every life has a purpose.’
Like the MeMe character in this story, all were born with distinct and unique abilities. Everyone is an incredible being and the true adventure is the magical source that is within every single planetary life. We exist in the unending space and reside on a mystical planet called earth.
Life is its own magic, and that magic is the source to all, a purpose in the vast unending cosmos.
Today is tomorrow, to give and to learn and to leave the incredible magic of life to those who shall follow.
When you no longer want to be someone else’s sadness, trust and love is its beginning.
The ‘greater magic is in all to better the world, a world that can be filled with love and peace.
I hope that my readers will enjoy this book and above all else, remember that ‘your life is magical’.

PROLOGUE
O nce upon a time there was a kingdom, far, far apart from the rest of the world. This was no ordinary kingdom. It had been created long ago by beautiful red sparkling ants whose red ant queens always had shimmery brilliant red fur and a gold circle in their eyes. These were not ordinary house ants, but they were special ants because they could do magic. These were known as the Rai.
They could lift ten times their size and make objects rise in the air and they could float their bodies in mid-air. These magical red ants created beautiful, scented lavender and red flowers that had an unusual nectar and that other insects or other creatures just could not resist the taste. After eating one of these flowers they would have cravings for its unique nectar forever.
As time moved on the power of the magical red ants became less with each new ant generation. One day the red ant off-springs no longer knew how to use the once known magic that was the power of their ancestors. However, the red ants red fur was their known trait in the blue forest. All born to the red ant kingdom had the dazzling fuzzy red fur.
Thousands of years passed and these marvelous red ant creatures who had been renowned by the insect community in the blue forest eventually became extinct. Though no one in the blue forest knew why and this has always been the red ant mystery.
Because the red ant kingdoms lost their magical powers its descendants had to toil the earth for food and to build their mounded homes deep into the ground, or else they would be attacked and eaten by other insects. The offspring were unable to lift ten times their weight, or levitate objects, or hover high in the air, but they continued to cultivate the strange lavender and red scented flowers.
The red ants had countless enemies, especially the black ant kingdoms, Anthropadas. The black ants had always been envious of the wise red ants. Throughout millenniums, the black ants wanted to learn the secret to the magic that the red ants possessed. It is for this reason that the black ants fought with the red ants but were always unable to succeed. The black ants were not able to destroy the red ants because they were stronger, and the red ants possessed magical powers.
Because the red ants lost the knowledge of their magical powers they were forced to hide from the Black army ants. The black ants grew bigger in size and became mightier than the red ants with each generation. They multiplied rapidly and spread its kingdoms throughout the Blue Forest and each black queen always sought to destroy the red ant kingdoms.
With each war that the black ants waged against the red ants, the red ants kingdoms dwindled in numbers and the red ant soldiers could no longer protect their queen. They had to evade constant battles with the black ants to preserve their remaining colonies, and they were peaceful ants who did not want to fight with the mighty soldiers of the Kalhul. The red ants eventually were forced to move far away from the black ants because their kingdoms would be doomed.
The whereabouts of the red ants became unknown, but it is rumored that they journeyed to an unknown part of the world beyond the blue waters, which is known as the blue horizon. The remnants of the red ants remain hidden beyond the great blue waters and none of the insects in the blue forest knows their whereabouts. Although, it is known that the wise red ants were masters at keeping secrets.
