Synopsis

'Keisha, if you ain't got nobody, you always got me. And I'm all you really need." - Trigga
With Kiesha's life in the hands of Lloyd aka Black, the leader of the ruthless EPG crew, Trigga has his mind set on bloodshed and he is determined to hit up every single trap-house in Atlanta that belongs to him until he can flush him out and get his beloved Keisha back. But after enduring weeks of torture and starvation at the hands of a man who is seeking revenge on her for what she's done, will Keisha be the same girl he fell in love with?
Keisha's had her share of thugs in her lifetime but never has she ever come as close to danger as she has since she fell for Trigga. In a matter of months, she's gone from hiding dope in her house to now taking bullets...all in the name of love. But when she finds out that she has another life to consider, will she have the strength to stand by Trigga's side and be his gangsta chick or will she decide that the street life is too much for her to bear?
In the streets, love and loyalty are the most sought after commodities. With Keisha and Trigga holding on to their love, will they be able to put their faith into the ones closest to them to remain loyal? Find out in this third installment of Keisha and Trigga.

Prologue
One month later

“Okay, take your time and look closely,” Detective Burns coached with an eager grin on his face.
He was finally about to get one step closer to closing out one of the biggest cases of his career. It wasn’t the big kahuna…of course, that was Lloyd. If he could get Lloyd nailed down, he would most certainly get the fat ass raise and corner office that he’d been coveting for years; but locking Maurice Bivens down for the murder of Kenyon St. Michaels and one of Lloyd’s EPG gangsters was nothing to look down on.
On top of that, if he could get Maurice to talk, he might find out some of what he needed to know in order to lock Lloyd up too. Life was looking good for Detective Burns. His wife had been so happy about him arresting Maurice that she’d almost let him sleep back in their bedroom the night before. If this eyewitness correctly identified him as the man who had murdered Kenyon St. Michaels and agreed to put her testimony on record for the trial, it would seal the deal for his career—and he might even get a bit of celebratory sex from the Mrs. Sweeeeeet!
“Okay Ms. Simon, do you see the man here that you testified you witnessed running from Kenyon St. Michael’s home the night of his murder?”
Burns watched as the eyewitness took a deep breath, hesitating as she looked through the glass at the black men of various shapes, sizes, and skin-tones in the room ahead of them. He almost wanted to point directly at Maurice Bivens and ask her frankly, “IS THIS THE GUY?!” but he knew then that his case would most definitely be shot to hell. The witness continued to hesitate, and he heard someone clear his throat next to him. Burns turned and came eye-to-eye with his captain, who was giving him a disappointed look. Burns began to get anxious.
“Look really hard…REALLY hard, Ms. Simon. Do you see anyone who looks ANYTHING like the man you called us about when you heard about Mr. St. Michael’s murder?”
Sweat beaded up at the top of Burns’ brow. He gave a look of desperation at his captain and sent him a silent plea for more time. To Burns’ absolute chagrin, his captain shook his head solemnly and moved towards the witness.
“Ms. Simon, I know you’ve been through a traumatic experience…you’ve just been released from the hospital after nearly losing your life. I wish I could have asked you sooner so your memory would be sharper, but I couldn’t. Now, I understand we can’t expect you to be able to remember back to that night—”
“But I do remember,” the witness said finally.
Burns’ ears perked up instantly as a ray of hope shot through him like a firework. Finally, alas, his case might be saved. Rushing to the witness with a grin on his face and furrowed brows, he forced himself between her and his captain, then grabbed onto her shoulder.
“You see him? Do you see the man?”
The witness wrinkled up her face and turned to look him square in the eyes. Her brown eyes focused in on him, and he could see from her expression that her thoughts were crystal clear, and she was firm in whatever she was about to say. Please God…let her be about to say what I need .
“No,” she said. Instantly, the breath left out of Burns’ lungs. His shoulders slumped and his face damn near hit the ground, but he had to try one last time. Maybe she was mistaken.
“Are you sure? You don’t see the man here…the man you called us about and said was Maurice “Trigga” Bivens. You don’t see him here?”
“No,” she said again.
“BUT HE’S HERE! You don’t see him?” Burns said desperately. He felt his captain’s hand on his shoulder, but he ignored it. “Did you suffer an eye injury? A head injury? Could it be that you don’t remember correctly?!”
“NO, NO, NO! I was mistaken. Maurice is not the man who I saw…he’s not the man who killed Kenyon St. Michaels. He’s the man who saved my life!”
Burns’ mouth dropped wide open.
“WHAT?!”
Tish bit her lip and shook her head vigorously as she looked through the glass at Trigga. He was standing straight up with his jaw clenched tightly, and his gray eyes staring straight ahead. On his face was his normal pissed off scowl. With each second that he was made to continue standing there, he was getting visibly more and more annoyed until finally, he just crossed his arms in front of his chest and looked straight through the glass at where Tish was, as if to say ‘hurry the fuck on!’ Tish shuddered and backed away from the glass. It almost felt like he could see her.
“Can he see me?!” she shrieked.
Burns furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. “What?” He then turned to look through the glass and saw that Trigga seemed to be staring straight at his only eyewitness. When he turned back to Tish, he noticed that she had a look of pure terror on her face.
“Ms. Simon, if this is not the man who killed Kenyon and he’s actually the man who saved you…why do you seem so afraid?” he asked her slowly.
“I’m not afraid,” Tish lied as she tried to gather her composure and stand straight. She shot a wary glance back over to Trigga, who was now looking down at his feet as he shifted from foot to foot.
But the truth was she was still afraid. If Trigga ever found out that she was the one who was behind him getting arrested for murder, she wasn’t sure what would happen. All she knew now was that she had to correct her wrong decision. He’d saved her life. She couldn’t possibly move forward with being the sole reason he would be locked away forever for a murder after that. All she had been trying to do was get him away from Keisha; she’d never thought that it would spiral this far out of control.
When Keisha was gone one day to class, she went into her room and got the number for the detectives out of her room. She had seen the card on Keisha’s dresser for days, and convinced herself to use it after Queen and her men had tied her to the bed and threatened to kill her if she made a sound. For whatever reason, she knew that Keisha wouldn’t leave Trigga alone, no matter what new bullshit he wrapped her up in, so Tish decided to call the detectives to solve the problem for
