Prose And Poetry

Time made a joke
You arrived in the moment that I did not certainly planned. A moment where even the connection was strong we both know it is impossible.
I am with someone. You are moving on from som eone.
A perfect love wasted in a wrong time.

Illusion
Moving on sounds fitting for someone who experienced love. I am questioning myself, “ Why I am moving on from you although there was never a n US ?”

Unrequited
I will always choose you although I know t hat I will never be one of your cho ices.

Surrender
Why do we keep on chasing a connection that was never there? Feels like voluntarily staking your vampire heart with a silver dagger. Molded with the venom juiced from a friend’s mouth. Unexpected, untimely, and uncanny which makes it petrifying.
It is the danger of keeping a venomous creature on your home without a training and knowledge on how to handle them. Yet even with a handling stick, it will not do you good. As they are, plenty and they made your home their burrow.

Stutter
As the world laughs on the stuttering child, I am shedding some tears, as I know how social anxiety had carried out this manifestation on an innocent soul.
The mockery of the parents as they force the child to rush on stating his opinion. The mimic of the other kids on the hardship on the stuttering child. At worst, the standard of leadership that comes with the stereotype of a good public speaker.
Yes, this was once me. It is still me. The only thing changed is how powerful my pen had become and how many ears I have focused on me.
To the world of limits, I say, “I am a stutterer who the heck cares.”

Blinded
When your enemy just got the eye for your insanity, they will never see the beauty of the things that you do. Same with the blinding illusion of love/ infatuation, they can never see the toxicity.

Paradoxes
Paradoxes are fascinating. As the two opposing categories or conflicting ideas, pave way to a joined truth in each side. Looping on the asymmetrical rhythm of life.
One truth says, “Abandoned people do have the least tendency to abandon you.” For they already know the feeling of being left behind and they wish to never inflict those to someone else. Another truth mentioned, “The outgoing person or the comedian in the group holds the darkest problems opting to suicidal thoughts.” As their humor was offered to aid someone who needs it more than themselves.
Which side you are on do know: You have the tune to play and the hymn to sing! An obligation we must not forget in this lifetime to make a melodic rhythms both pleasing in each other’s ear.

Is it too early to know?
Did you realize that when you say 48 hours together felt like twenty-seven dates, it’s like a checklist of every prayer I offer to God?
They label me as petty as I whisper traits to Him, requesting that “I want a man who truly lives by Your word, not just play pretend on Su nday.”
It’s amazing to see a man I thought would only be found in my classical fiction novels doing kind deeds for strangers like you saving a Lola from the road.
You, like Gaston in the feature, saved me with your net, like Eric, from my dwindling faith in romance. I should remember how gentle your kiss was, just as Philip cut the curse I had placed on myself. Here comes Alladin’s rides and adventures as we take walks and random roads to talk to strangers up the hill. Blending with Prince Charming’s chivalry while trying to understand how my ignorance of things affects how I see the w
