Preface
I am writing this book of poems in remembrance of my life in the Republic of South Korea. I served 6 of 10 years in the U.S. Army in the Republic of Korea and had quite a few experiences I shall never forget. I want to now share some of these times and travels with you, so you can also feel the observation of relationships I saw develop over a period of time in Korea and American society. I want to express this to you in these poems.
Read and enjoy. This was trully a Godly experience.

Waking Up In the Heat of the Night
Waking up in the heat of the night, with you by
my side and your warm body next to mine.
I think I am about to climb mountains never
steeped before and swim oceans never swam
before, and travel to universes never traveled
before and twek valleys never walked before,
Because you are the mountains, and the valleys,
the oceans and the universes never traveled
and the planets never walked all bundled up as
joy, desire and ectasy that I must explore,
travel with you throughout the days of our lives
until the end of our time, you are my universal
Goddess.
Majestry of a Tree
What is the majestry of a tree. To watchover you and me,
The many branches and limbs that stretch into eternity.
What do they see. Some great power watching over you and me.
From where did it come; and where does it go.
No one really knows.
It sprouts in many directions to express our many
affections. Its roots dig deep into our aspirations,
our fears our dreams and is society really now it seems
is it really as confused as it appears or is it crystal clear.
People travel here and there, and the Gods appear everywhere
and time really never standstill. So what is the majestry of a tree.
To watch over you and me, the many branches and limbs,
that stretch into eternity and what do they see,
some great power watching over you and me.
Waking Up In The Middle Of the Night
Waking up in the middle of the night, feeling your
warm body against mine and your soft breath on
my cheek, as I break from my sleep and inhale your
aroma of perfume and lust from a many nights
and my senses are awakened once again and I cry out
Oh how I want you.
Oh how I need you.
But the anticipation is for the day, and I will
soon be on my way, we will communicate from
far away, and I know what we will say.
Waking up in the middle of the night.
Feeling your warm body against mine, your soft
breath on my cheek, as I break from my sleep
