Description

Will science and spirituality reconverge? Journey through a poetry and prose anthology about aspiration, hope, love, self-reflection, and a new understanding of consciousness and science.

As the Aquarian Age begins, will science and spirituality reconverge with the inclusion of consciousness? Are you ready for the electrifying and sometimes startling changes you may experience? The Age of Aquarius is associated with hope, cooperation, equality, tolerance, and love. Its symbol, the water bearer, is pouring the energies of dramatic and often unexpected change through Uranus onto planet Earth. These vibratory frequencies can evoke new thoughts and a higher mind to evolve human consciousness.

In Hope and Heart, author Phoenix Rose focuses on the positive qualities of these possibilities, both as an individual and as a united human race of the planet. Her commentary on the world's one-consciousness tradition found in ancient wisdom and Quantum physics is communicated clearly and in straightforward language. She offers a multi-faceted collection of poetry and prose that touches on everything from animals to stars to one's own precious thoughts, sharing what was going on with her at various moments – ripples in her life.

Phoenix Rose's sensitive and thought-provoking poetry reveals her love and attunement with Nature and all life, augmented by her burgeoning artistic endeavors. Her selections transport you to a peaceful world of awe and wonderment of being while reflecting within yourself with every page turned.

In tumultuous times might HOPE be an acronym for Holding Only Positive Expectations?

And with HEART, Harmonious Empathy Always Rings True?

Journey through a poetry and prose anthology about hope, love, self-reflection, and a new understanding of consciousness and science.

On Our Way
By James Dillet Freeman
I am a wondering wanderer
As much as you and you—
What is this strange but wonderful
World that we wander through?
Where did I come from? What am I?
Where is it that I go?
I find few waymarks in the wood,
But this one thing I know—
I shall not lack for what I need
To go the journey’s length,
A curious inward compass,
A frail but certain strength
Have borne me and I do not doubt,
Although I cannot see,
Will bear me up and bear me on
Across eternity.

Foreword
Spirituality—A Science Whose Time Is Now!
Through her faith for the unseen, while knowing in her heart that anything is possible, Phoenix Rose has reached incredible heights of mastery, not only through her poetry but also through her ability to incorporate science and spirituality.
As we have witnessed throughout history, change is the challenge of the soul, as many awakened souls courageous enough to honor themselves by stepping out of their comfort zones were rejected and persecuted.
Hopefully in the twenty-first century humanity will come to recognize and embrace the Divine Feminine in all of us, which will mean letting go of the old and embracing a new way of perceiving life. A healthy tree has many branches of understanding!
Phoenix Rose ’ s ability to transcend the lower mind of fear, to persevere against all odds, and discover her life’s purpose is an inspiration to all those on the path of enlightenment. Her wisdom, derived from within, balanced with her journey as a seeker of universal truths, will enlighten your mind, health, and emotions and free your spirit. Without the courage of awakened souls, who dared to step out of their comfort zone, humanity would still be vibrating in the third dimension of fear.
The author’s passion for quantum physics—which is essential if humankind is going to continue evolving and uncover the reasons for being born on planet Earth—will continue to elude us if we do not harmonize both polarities of our brain: logic (masculine energy) and the higher intelligence of the heart (feminine energy). As we humble ourselves and embrace the power, wisdom, and love within, transformation of the heart will be a common occurrence. In this state of consciousness, the human race will have the ability to recognize our equality with all the four races and become one consciousness.
Thank you, Phoenix Rose, for being an exemplary role model of wisdom, insight, and determination, showing that “difficult roads can lead to beautiful destinations when we walk gently upon the earth, being the change we want to see in the world.”

Preface
My writing career hit a speed bump early on. In fourth grade, my teacher’s red-ink comments on a poem I’d written in class squelched my belief in myself as a writer. What did she mean there was no hint of the surprise ending? How could it be a surprise if I’d tipped my hand? A short poem didn’t allow much space to develop a special contrivance, or so thought I at the time. It literally took years, but eventually, I got over it.
Thanks for that goes in part to my mom. “Believe in yourself,” she would say. Always my cheerleader and biggest supporter, she was a writer too. She also taught me to be forgiving and kind to others.
Maybe that’s why I’ve always wished to help others. When I was a child, my famil y lived an easy walk or bicycle ride from Long Island Sound. I grew up with Nature in my veins! As often as possible, I spent time outdoors. The salt air breezes, the warmth of sunny summer days, the low tide, the marshy smells, the sounds of waves gently rolling over sandy beaches or dashing against rocky outcrops, the periwinkles, the seaweed purses to pop, the minnows to chase in tidal pools, and the majesty of the night sky with a zillion stars above. Then, rustling, russet leaves in autumn, snowmen and ice skating in winter, and the explosion of rebirth in springtime. Yes, my childhood was idyllic.
I quickly learned that was not the case for everyone. One girlfriend had polio; another, childhood diabetes. The boy next door, two years my senior, had had heart surgery as an infant. His routine was quite restricted, but Rick was my BFF from the start. Amazingly, I don’t recall any of them complaining.
Keenly aware as I was of people with challenges, an inner something urged me to assist others in small ways. I had my chores, of course, and babysat when I was older. One time I baked cookies, then sold them to neighbors and donated the profits to help a church building project. As a teenager, I volunteered in the physical therapy department of a rehabilitation center.
Being a child in the fifties, I grew up under the spell of TV shows that often concluded with a moral lesson. Roy Rogers would say, “Think first, then act.” Jiminy Cricket told us, “Always let your conscience be your guide.” These aphorisms stuck with many open-minded and spongelike youngsters, including me. To this day, I work on applying those words of wisdom!
Optimistic, often more at ease with my elders, I was always inquisitive and full
