C. Ann Nicole was born on the beautiful Caribbean Island of Trinidad & Tobago, in the city of San Fernando to two amazing parents, Fitz & Merceda. Her dad worked in an oil refinery company, and her mom was an RN until they decided to move to NYC for better opportunities when she was three years old.
Her life’s journey started at 10 years old when her mom enrolled her in dance classes at a studio in Queens...Gloria Jackson Dance Studio. She loved dancing, and it became her life! Cheryl, the name her family called her, danced throughout high school, entered talent shows with friends, dance recitals, and even her adult years... praise dancing in churches.
And then, somewhere within those amazing years, she found her voice! A voice that compelled a new journey! A voice that stemmed from the devastation she felt from her parent’s divorce; and at 15 years old, her sad, hurt, angry, and confused emotions sought guidance & direction which led her to write it all down.
All those emotions that flooded her heart turned into a tale of truth that told a story; and from that story on, was the onset to continue to express and write from her heart’s experiences & life’s events... poems of Strength, Courage, Truth, & Love.

A CKNOWLEDGMENTS
This endeavor would not have been possible without the wise council vision of my mentor, coach, and friend, Dove Hagan. When I had fears doubts about sharing my story, Dove would encourage me to believe in myself and my truth; for my truth may help someone find theirs. I am extremely grateful, and couldn t have done it without her. Thank you, Dove!
Words cannot express my gratitude to my family friends who have supported me throughout my journey with words of Faith, Honesty, Affirmation, Love. I appreciate you!
Above ALL and Everything, I Thank God for His Love and this gift of Life that allows me to...Breathe!
