Letters is a series of poems written at a time of Great Depression. Each poem came in the middle of the night couldn't sleep all these words in my head led me to my typewriter where I sat down to right actually was more like taking dictation the word seem to flow from my mind as if some inner voice was speaking to me and I recorded what I heard

Night is the dawn of the ether worlds day
Where visions appear from the inward way
Now what I hear and what I see:
Cometh forth from what dreams in me

I am another world

Can’t get these thoughts out of my head
My mind has abandoned my body to bed
What day it is matters not to me
Lost in my mind wandering aimlessly
 
I can’t get THEM to leave me alone!
 
Hurricane emotions have crashed me into the inner zone
I seem to have awakened in the midst of emotional debris
Dream walking in some….past….present….illusional….fantasy
 
Why is tomorrow always yesterday?
 
I have the look of one that sees within
Conscious not of now but then
Pondering questions in my mind
Seeking answers of a desired kind
 
Facing judgements of self persecution
Locked away in my cell of isolation
Doing time of undetermined duration
Outside my cell are partial faces
Vague are the sounds that seem like voices
Hard to hear
Dim to see
Please go away
Just leave me be
 
SANCTUARY this CELL has become
Safety now from everyone
Save the one who HAUNTS my mind
Who knows not day or time
 
I VOICE my THOUGHTS for HIM to HEAR
maybe he KNOWS the WAY out of HERE
 
Those WITHOUT, REGARD me STRANGE
It has been this way, SINCE my CHANGE
 
I THINK more NOW than EVER before
 
Because of THIS
 
The PAST has BECOME an OPEN door
For me to PEER in time and time again
To GLEAN the TRUTH of what was THEN
 
Now I know what
I SEE
Means for others to say…. The closed eye opens the mind
To see thru the night into the day
 
Though I KNOW that I will NEVER be the SAME
I will RAISE this FLESH and LIVE AGAIN
 
I now SPEAK from ANOTHER MIND
CONJURED up from EXPERIENCE and TIME
 
What was HURT has GONE away
Now that the NIGHT has become the DAY
The CURE was only for ME to SEE
The WAY of LIFE is MYSTERY
 
To LIVE and LEARN is the WAY
To KNOW what TRUTH has to SAY
 
Those who FALL in IT
 
Will be RAISED AGAIN

HOW can I ever FORGET?
My LIFE was forever CHANGED
I came to KNOW great SUFFERING
My TOMORROWS are always YESTERDAY
 
And it is…. ALL…. because of ….YOU!
 
How DIRE to be HELD in the GRASP of the INESCAPABLE
 
What’s the DIFFERENCE between a FOOL and a SAINT?:
 
They both BELIEVE to their own HURT
 
Those who DIE in TRUTH are RAISED AGAIN
I SEE with EYES from YESTERDAY
Something from the PAST, turns the EYES to look WITHIN
To look upon the ONCE WAS, time and time AGAIN
 
THAT which I was FORCED to RECKON with
Has left ME forever CHANGED
What I ONCE was
I can NEVER be again
 
The WALKING DEAD is my FATE
 
Who but an ENEMY would do this to ME?
