tune into my frequency
tune for a while
find the bottle of whiskey
let’s get to know our minds
tune into my frequency
tune for a while
we’ll lose track of time
falling for each other’s smiles
tune into my frequency
tune for a while
let our souls ignite
as our bodies collide
tune into my frequency
just tune for a while
as soon as my eyes met yours
the past and the present merged
and everything I ever lost
came back to me
he looked at me
not wanting to be seen
his quick but rapid glance
with half-averted eyes
unraveled some dawning of tenderness
I looked through him
his soul resembled
the midnight sea
I didn’t need no drink
to feel dizzy and out of place
I was drunk all the same
from the shivers I felt
when you walked my way
I pretend to be cold
so you’ll wrap me in your arms
and when you do
every second counts
third date
I thought we might’ve kissed today
but we’re taking things slow
I know I want you
it’s hard trying not to show
we woke up hangover
but with a chance of being loved
with the type of love
that fills all voids
with the type of love
you don’t let go
he was a nameless fire
the ride or die type
one day was enough
to keep me up at night
I moved into harmony with the environment
flirting with the soft breeze
laughing easy laughs
roaming free
and in that moment I knew
my heart now sang
to the beat of yours
when I’m with you
I suddenly become
easily amused
I wipe out the blues
and love the world like I should

I’m so scared
to feel this way
for I can’t help
falling for you
in every way
