Description

Business and ethics have long been uneasy bedfellows. Nothing has changed. It is still being used as a tool by rich elitists to enforce their standards and class structures onto the rest of us. Un-elected, deceitful, and with the consumers demise as it's goal (less for you, more for them).

TheRich always co-opt our institutions and organizations, turning them into facades to enforce social and political norms crafted to their needs, regardless of the harm to the environment or the people that inhabit it. This leads to such inhumane and irresponsible absurdities such as letting Elon Musk wastefully throw a Rolls Royce into outer space while he pays lower class workers starvation wages.

Blow off their illusions.

Style-Leash Notation

You may notice my style of including a (2nd voice)
A ((3 rd voice)), and a <<<4th_voice>>>

There’s the poem talking – then there's (me)
Then there's (("The Editor")) (He's an ass)
And then there's the <<<robo_people>>>
(They are also asses)
So you get four voices in one poem
All for a low price
That’s double plus gooed
O’well (Get it?)

It is not natural or inevitable that half the world goes hungry; that the freedom of markets trumps protection of the planet; or that citizens' rights come second to those of corporations.

~Frances O'Grady
Dedication

To the billions of poor and middle class workers who are coerced into giving up their morals and dedicating their lives to support the corrupted system of capital corporate life just to survive.
Author's Introduction

To say I don't like the corporation as an entity isn't entirely true. I don't like how TheRich have evolved this body into a system of enslavement that benefits the few.

TheRich use corporations to absolve themselves of personal responsibility and liability. Then, despite their claim of embracing a free market model, they seek protection and preferential treatment from all levels of government. And their model of Capitalism being the best system often is shown as the farce it is as they line up to receive bail out grants and loans for situations they caused that were detrimental to millions. None of the shareholders or Board of Directors suffer because of their actions but instead are rewarded for damaging others.

They use their employees to provide what little morals they possess when the design of the body is to care not except if there is a profit to be made from the transaction. This often puts employees in a difficult situation as they have to enforce rules and promote products for a corporation they know does not have their interests or the true interest of the customers welfare at heart. Many employees only stay at a job because they work with “good people” or are forced by economic circumstance.

This contradiction has caused many workers to turn inwardly against themselves thinking that a model so widely supported must be right and that the failure is with themselves. The cost to our societies has been increased economic disparity, lives lost for puerile profits, and increased physical and mental health problems for the employees.

Alas, the leaders of our major corporations repeatedly show their callousness through their inaction. Many use religious or ethical organizations as a facade to impress the masses with their “care.” In fact, their motive is tax evasion or maintenance of a positive image in hope of increased profits or security for themselves. The whole model I find disgusting. Equally disgusting is the masses who support this model rather than seeking an alternative or risking their own personal security for menial rewards.

We need an economic system that puts people not profit first and these will never be obtained with the current model. I'm working on that and you should too.

My purpose in writing this is to provide some examples of corporate malfeasance and point out the reality of modern capitalism. I hope some will wake up and heed the warning.
