Description

“This collection of poetry is love at first word, sending you to spiral down the rabbit hole of love’s abyss and then puts you to sleep with a thousand kisses.”
Have you ever been in love? Have you ever been loved?
Paul E. Calarco’s first collection of poetry will bring you to a place of higher vibrations, where you can feel color and taste a kiss at the edge of this lover’s words. Calarco is considered by some as the divine masculine counterpart to the best-selling Rupi Kaur. Several lifetimes of love are encompassed in eighty extensive entries. This collection is a raw, deep, and vulnerable sharing of his appreciation of another being’s existence. The poetry book, like the love expressed in its contents, is real, honest, and never lets you down. It is love at first word, sending you to spiral down the rabbit hole of love’s abyss and then putting you to sleep with a thousand kisses. We hope this is not the end of his writing; even if it were, we would be satisfied because we have this to behold.

About the Author

To my sons , may you one day know fully the love I have for you, and may you too be fully, completely and wholly loved the way you yearn, need and desire to be loved.
To those seeking to over-stand their journey of love.
To The Masters that inspire(d) me
To God / Source / Supreme Being(s)
To all the girls I loved before.

To the ONE I love NOW.
Introduction
These pieces were written in the dark of night, sunrises, sunsets; scribed during the amazing period of L-O-V-E where you can think of nothing but the other because the other is your sleep, the other is your sustenance, the other is every-thing.
What is amazingly profound is to have these reflections, to be able to open this book and to “remember” those moments. It is a hope that this writing exists in service for you to know that you deserve love and that you deserve appreciation.
Her
It was love at first sight. I saw her and I knew. It was a slightly out of body experience. It was easy, it flowed, it was instant connection.
It was not that this had not happened before, but to happen again and again, this was my opportunity to fully embrace it.
THIS TIME I DECIDED TO WRITE IT ALL DOWN.
To be lucky, to be infinitely blessed, to be loved.
You must believe it for it to be so, recite the following mantra
(until you believe the words):
I am lucky, I am infinitely blessed, I am love.
I am that I am.
The Journey in Prose
Each of the following numbered entries were handwritten in a journal over the course of six months; some in the early morning at sunrise, others while the moon was at its apex, and several while daydreaming in the afternoon.
The poetic prose you read in this book were accomplished by channeling the essence of love, and the pen simply moved until it was done moving me. Following the completion of each piece they were read while basking in the appreciation of the moment. Some days I realized not what I wrote until I read them to HER. I hope you imagine these being written for you because they WERE.
You are loved, you are love, and I appreciate you.
1.
From the moment I set my eyes on you,
I knew, I had to talk to you,
I had to meet you...After meeting you,
I, just “knew”, the moment you walked through my doorway and we hugged,
moved me,
I was instantly at ease,
relaxed,
every dust particle of my life had settled and was cleared away.
Finally, we had found each other…
…like this book, a clean, clear slate, page, karma, conscience, to begin again with you;
this being,
most beautiful wonderful human being named LOVE,
though you are so much more,
YOU are “everything”,
every want, wish, desire, hope, dream I have ever had for a partner,
it is YOU,
but better, funnier, sassier, prettier, sexier, than I could have ever created on my own.
2.
When I woke this morning: I felt joy.
I felt deep appreciation.
I felt LOVE.
Thankful for the sun rose yet again,
Another day…
…for my eyes to get another opportunity to see you.
-my nose gets another opportunity to nuzzle into you and realize it is the sweetest
scent I have ever smelled
-my lips to yours, to taste that distinct flavor I crave
-my ears to hear you breathing
-my fingertips to trace your every curve and especially my favorite spot.

Thankful for the sunset,
as I
was able to live another day with you
and I
can rest easily in the knowing.
I can sleep well, not needing to dream of things
wanted or desired
but
knowing another day with you
is
the sweetest day.

3.
How do I love thee?
Let me count the ways…
It is impossible to count the immeasurable amount that I love you.
The symbol of LOVE should not be a heart but infinity ∞.
There are an infinite number of ways I love you; there are not enough pages, I could fill them all simply describing your eyes and the ways you look at me.
There are not enough pages to capture my description of the way it feels, the way you move me, the way in which it seems time stops momentarily and I can feel the earth moving below my feet.
A heart is too finite, yes indeed my heart beats for you, my blood pumps for you; but this love is beyond the mere flesh and bones love.
It is the love that creates, the love that represents all we exist for; this love is truth.
4.
Time
Time away sends my ♥ heart to that place of longing, to that place of wanting, to that place of, should I say, should I use the word: need. Yes, need. But I push it away, push it out, find the joy in the knowing you will return eventually…the brief time away is profound, the hours seem like days because I do, I fill that time with so much action that I do not have the time to miss you…oh, yes, miss, miss you I do, miss you I shall.
But is it missing?
No
You are never missing.
You were before we met.
Now you are whole. You are material.
You materialized in my world and that thought of how it all happened.
How much you instantly meant to me.
(*How much you still mean to me)
How deeply I love you is what makes the hours apart tolerable, even joyful, however,
the moment that makes me realize is the first moment I see you.
It is in that very moment
I remember, in that moment I fall in love again
and in that knowing,
I can let you go for a short while,
to know I get to fall in love even more the next
time.
