planet earth from outer space. TERRESTRIAL is a poetic trek creatively probing into

oceans. “Of The Breeze” is the amazing chemistry of the magical sky. “Of The Trees”
how very grateful and thankful we need to be for the history within the world of forest.

If this is our home no need to go yonder
Everything’s here so why sit and ponder
If we to go beyond for a different planet
What about earth will we just abandon it
 
And leave behind oceans of mystic blue
The fish, the sea turtles, and whales too
Don’t forget the birds flying high on air
Are we to leave them too, we don’t care
 
This is our home, I don’t want to retreat
When everything is here we need to eat
Not only that its beauty’s beyond words

It all began in the water deep.
The breath of life, awaken from sleep.
And within its depths man emerged.
We are the whales and dolphins submerged.
For, long ago when the world was new.
We lived as one in the ocean blue.
And to this day we must all believe.
We are as brothers and sisters of the seas.

MYSTERY
Of all the wonders on earth that I see,
I’m truly amazed the secrecy of the sea.
 
With its abyss waters seems to never end,
A vast array of creatures it’s where we began.
 
To this day the oceans are unexplored complicity,
And liken to the vast universe the seas are a mystery.

THE SEA SPEAKS
Just listen very closely to the ocean air.
For the song from the sea will be there.
As it sings its melody for all may hear.
Just listen very closely, it will be clear.
 
This is our home we live under the sea.
But some fly above as their home to be.
And we welcome all to come and swim.
When you’re in our world please begin.
 
To show you care respecting our space.
You’re a visitor not the landlord’s face.
So be sure it’ll stay the same not bleak.
And filled with your trash, a sea speaks.

EVERY SPLASH I MAKE
What a glorious morning for a swim.
The water’s cool will erase any grim.
As I glide upon the blue wave so free.
I’m alone in my thoughts I’m at ease.
 
For, underneath there is a world apart.
If granted permission from one’s start.
We’d be swimming with fish so great.
Live in a sea with every splash I make.

A STEP IN TIME
You’re playing near the shallow waves at your feet.
As toes are kept cool from the sun’s blistering heat.
The tide beckons to enter as it whispers in the wind.
A soft melody hums, welcome, welcome, be within.
For once upon a time an ocean was home by design.
You’re playing near shallow waves is a step in time.

SEASON
There is but one season under the sea.
No autumn colors or fall of its leaves.
No cold of winter and with it a freeze.
No thaw of a spring in a warm breeze.
But summer all year long under a sea.

EXPLORE THE SHORE
Take a walk on the beach what may find.
A treasure of discovery is there to define.
In the sand, it tickles your toes as you go.
There’s a consortium of tiny crabs below.
 
But, on the surface is a gift from the sea.
If one strolls the coast looks down to see.
A variety of seashells is there for the take.
In a collection of shells you wish to make.
 
And what flies above in the clouds so free.
Are the playful seagulls, hoping they’ll be.
The first in line to snatch food left behind.
Take a walk on the beach, what may find.

SEAGULLS
I look up to pearl wings soar amid the air
By waves of air currents carry the graceful pair
Far away from the Pacific they swoop over me
Dare to fancy of an adventure a call to sea
 
An ocean abides as a voyage to be crossed
For your dreams hidden someday will be lost
Graced by flight the gulls cry out in my name
Fly with seagulls than submit to a plod’s claim

WAVE HI
Go to the beach and there you will find
A welcoming essence of nature so kind
As seagulls wings glide within the wind
They dive to say join in the fun to begin
 
The dance of the crabs greet at your feet
Their claws mimic sounds, maracas beat
And drum of the waves pounding nearby
As an ocean welcomes you by waving hi

OCEANIC
Just as we are mostly comprised of water
So is the planet earth after it was much hotter
Then veins of rivers gave a renew life here
As did the lakes when they suddenly appeared
But the one true source of liquid is gigantic
The Pacific, Atlantic, Indian and Arctic Oceanic

It’s a skip and a jump from Island to Island.
Even though, it’s thousand of miles dividing.
From Asia to America the land mass is great.
But the oceans that separate are ones at stake.
For within the deep blue lives many of before.
It was an aquatic home when we came ashore.

ORIGINATION
I try and take it all in as my senses explore the beach.
I hear the rumble of the waves our humble beginning.
I see the pearl foam of our home we first did swim in.
I feel the crystals of sand that began man as he creeps.
I breathe the sea air we all share from the ocean deep.
I can only imagine our first steps out within our reach.

SEA FOR TWO
The oceans are there for our sharing.
Liken sipping tea cups with a caring.
With one’s family and friends found.
In an oceanic universe that’s around.
 
Within this unexplored space in time.
Soon discover what’s yours and mine.
For a watery treasure know one knew.
It will nourish your souls, sea for two.

TALE OF TWO POLES
There lies within the axis of this great planet.
Separate but similar is their topography in it.
For the one above is known as the North Pole.
And the one below is the South Pole so cold.
 
There is no land at the Northern Hemisphere.
But instead it’s all ice floating on a sea here.
Polar bears, fox, wolves and Narwhals thrive.
On top of the Arctic Ocean living their lives.
 
There in the southern most point on the earth.
It’s located on a continent, Antarctica’s birth.
Leopard seals, dolphins and blue whales give.
The South Pole is the only place penguins live.
 
There lies within the axis of this great planet.
