I was inspired to publish my books by my granddaughter. I write my poems in a 3x5 note book and then transfer them to a larger page. She was transferring these for me for a family thing and suggested that maybe I should try to get published.
The idea was that God is omnipresent, so I took a word, wrote a poem around that word, and incorporated God into the poem since He is everywhere at once. Many of my poems were inspired while attending church service. I believe that some if not all are inspired by the Holy Spirit. The battle between good and evil is ongoing. The only way to overcome evil is through Jesus Christ.
Hopefully this book will inspire someone the turn to God/Jesus for guidance through the challenges of the day by day living we all face.

God, the creator of man
And all things that exist
He also created a woman
Her whims, Adam could not resist
Tempting of Eve by Satan
His form was of a serpent
Adam and Eve’s eyes were open
For this sin, they could not repent
Adam and Eve ate the fruit forbidden
Their eyes opened to shame
They tried to be hidden
God said all three were to blame
For the sin they admitted
From Eden they had to leave
To dust the serpent was committed
By Adam, Eve did conceive
For the knowledge of wrong from right
Death was the result
They lost their eternal light
To God it was a direct insult
God still loves them
They are part of His creation
Man made in image of Him
With man God wants a personal relation
God has a continuous plan
Before earth foundations were laid
Some things I cannot understand
Idols for my God, I will not trade
Nearly two thousand years ago
A vessel was in need
An immaculate womb was required
To carry the Holy Seed
A virgin does give birth
A prophecy was fulfilled
In heaven there was much mirth
Mankind destiny was to be revealed
A way God provided
As a man for Him to become
To bridge what is divided
He gave us Jesus, His only Son
God’s prophetic Son is Jesus
The Christian church He started
Born again in the spirit He gave us
Ministry of teaching and miracles
He imparted
Judaism was religion of the day
Priest held all the power
They followed the mosaic way
On Jesus teachings they were dour
For sin to be forgiven
Blood offering is required
Animal sacrifice was given
Lambs and bulls were desired
They had Jesus slain
By scourging and crucifixion
His death cause disciples much bane
Dying on a cross was a prediction
Jesus died on a cross
His blood on the cross and ground
He died from suffocation and blood loss
With His blood all sin was bound
In a tomb His body was placed
But He arose after day three
Through Him death is erased
With eternal life He set us free
Jesus is our Creator
He made the heavens and the earth
He is mankind’s saviour
Accept Him, repent, be baptized to a new birth
Death Jesus defeated
When from the tomb He arose
Through Him death is deleted
For His disciples, death is not imposed
God’s Son is the final sacrifice
Through His blood all sin He forgave
Rituals and works was not suffice
Just like Jesus, we should behave
We become Jesus disciples
His earthly representative
Christians should be Christ examples
There is not a better alternative
Christ is our confessor
Before the Holy Father He stands
Christ is our intercessor
For us He met the Father’s demands
In all His glorious wisdom
God has provided a way
For man to enter His kingdom
Forever in His presence to stay
PRAISE GOD
DELIVER

There are many things to deliver
Many a way to deliver them
Message may flow like a river
When delivered for Him
Some will deliver a speech
A podium may be in use
Some may use it to teach
For some it is a form of abuse
Doctors will deliver a child
A little package of innocents
For parents who are not loving or mild
A child they may grow to resent
Delivery of a bomb
Maybe by plane, rocket, or mail
Target destroyed with a certain aplomb
But, some are destined to fail
Delivery of death can be
Accomplished in many ways
Life is the highest fee
Each of us has an end to our days
Eternal life is an offer
Delivered through Jesus our savior
Repentance and baptism are for His coffer
Worship Him is a new behavior
PRAISE GOD
EXHAUSTION

I will keep going until
I am running on fumes
The day is almost past
Worn out is how I feel
For what does tomorrow loom
My flag is not at high mast
My mind had started to reel
A feeling of despair and gloom
Away from public I am cast
A little rest I will try to steal
On bed or pallet in any room
Sin against God I have amassed
Near depletion
