Winds of Change is book 3 in the Sorrow of Separation saga.
Before you hear Tomorrow’s Song, a wind of change comes and totally disrupts your life.

Sadness and happiness, you have to face them both. Happiness must be free of all negativity. Positive thinking leads to you winning. No matter which way the wind blows, stand ready for the unsteady.
Face the world with the innocence of youth.

The story so far…
My moment of time began when Sorrow of Separation ran. My soul poured out to poetry with a spark of feeling. Sadness came as you were reading a story from my life. My darkest day turned to nine years of sadness. The loss of ways to deal with the unreal. Swarmed with confusion from this illusion, I climbed out of the pit of depression and got the closure I needed.
Renewed with a new lease on life I set out to fulfill my childhood dream to write books. My science fiction novel was set aside so I could tell the tale of my Sorrow of Separation . While working with my publisher, inspiration took many different forms. I created two more follow-ups before Sorrow was printed. I experienced such joy that I created something that would stand the test of time and outlive me. Everyone loved my work. I was open minded to listen to what people wanted or looked for. One person absolutely loved the book but said it was too thin. Another liked the deep poems like “Hatred” more and felt I should become deeper. The main thought of Sorrow was that it was sad but inspirational. This tale had to be told, but I felt this way as well.
I will never forget the day I faxed over the form on May 5, 2010, and the book was released. Fate brought me full circle to the exact spot that I was almost killed. I stood in the exact spot for a few seconds with this wonderful feeling of warmth and kindness.
I thanked God as I always did for saving me that day and picked up my friend across the street.
I promoted and traveled excited about Sorrow . I wanted that rush again to create another book. So I submitted Tomorrow’s Song . I truly have to thank my mother for her input on book 2. She thought book 2 was too sad. I was upset because I already submitted it, but after a few hours I felt she was right. I altered the poems or more like created new ones, and the book became what you see now. I also made it bigger and did get more creative and deep. Tomorrow’s Song took a lot longer than I expected, but it was worth it as I hope you agree.
Tomorrow’s Song is the “happy” to the “sad” of Sorrow . Winds of Change Book 3 will be a mixture of both.
Hopefully book 4 will be the supersized book I dream of.
So Sorrow of Separation became a series of books each teaching a different message.
While Tomorrow’s Song was being produced, I created another two and a half books in the series.
The biggest challenge I have now is losing three weeks to get Winds out. Hopefully everything will work out and you join me on this journey.
My poor science fiction novel is on the back burner, but that dream will come true in time.
Check out each book in the Sorrow of Separation series!
Here is Winds of Change Book 3!
Be good.

Winds of Change
Book 3
Winds of Change is book 3 in the Sorrow of Separation series. Before you hear Tomorrow’s Song , a wind of change comes and totally disrupts your life. This collection of poems shows that for every “up” there is an obstacle. For every “down” there is a rebound. There are many “winds of change” that affect our lives be it good or bad. You must not lose yourself in the clouds of confusion. Brace yourself for life’s unique challenges. With each change you become stronger and wiser. You will learn to plan for the worst and lighten the blow of devastation. Always remember it doesn’t matter how many times you fall, it matters if you don’t get up. Wake up to your shake-up. Rebuild your life stronger to last longer.
Be good.

The Wind Is Coming
It starts with a whisper then a wind.
Change comes fast and thin.
You won’t see it till it hits your face.
The winds blows away history’s trace.
Change comes fast and quick.
Bad times may come thick.
The trick is I feel it coming.
The wind is numbing.
I fight back each time it comes.
Don’t want my happiness undone.
Losing my good times and fun,
I try to change its direction.
It grows strong with a collection.
Many winds hit from all sides.
Worlds will collide.
In the end there is the new.
But will this world work for you?

The Storm
Tragedy has no form.
Destructive is this storm.
The slate is wiped clean.
A house of bricks turns to sticks.
This devastation has rocked your patience.
Dust and debris is all that’s left of me.
Nothing can be replaced.
What a waste.
Alone with missing pieces, you are speechless.
You worked so hard, loved with trust.
Now you hold dust.
No footprint to follow.
Your world just turned hollow.
This world is grim.
Lock your heart, love is slim.
You can’t win.
Looking down blowing away is a paper.
Now, you can trace her.
Walking away from the dust and decay, you
will find your kids this way.

Troubled Waters
The path that leads to hardship and despair.
You travel down it, you don’t care.
Ignoring all warnings, you don’t see the drawings.
All signs point the other way.
Your life will decay.
Why can’t you walk away from the pain?
A new path leads to a gain.
Smoothing sailing with no bailing.
Wake up and chart your course.
If you don’t, sorrow will show force.
Leave the past behind.
Open your mind.
You can’t fix broken glass.
Do not finish last.
Your love has moved from your heart.
Time for you to depart.
Heal your soul.
Seek your goal.
Steer away from darkness’s close quarters.
Get out of troubled waters.

Mists
Mists of the deadly flow to the unsteady.
Darkness from the deep changes a life so sweet.
Sounds of war break down your door.
The gate is open, the shadow has spoken.
Despair and damnation will take a vacation.
Mighty fists are clenched.
My life won’t be benched.
Shackles from depression won’t hold my attention.
Armies of night can’t block out my light.
Faith will release, I will have peace.
My determination is sound for I won’t fall down.
The hounds of hell haven’t heard me yell.
Love of the light will reach its height.
