Bucky has always been a little different from a normal seven year old. He never has enough time in the day for all the adventures he dreams about. His trusted sidekick, the Navigator, helps with all his explorations. The Navigator has been with Bucky since his birth. The Navigator was created by his grandmother when he was born in honor of his grandfather, a World War 11 veteran of the Air Force. So with this, we can understand why the Navigator helps with courage and security they both need for each adventure. On this adventure Bucky and the Navigator want to find the hiding places of the Night Wheezers, so far, all he has to go on is the sound they make in the darkness. Come join in their first adventure. I think you will agree he is an original boy wonder!

As Bucky’s mother looked out her kitchen window, she can see the clean sheets she had hung to dry on the clothesline this bright and sunny day. She also noticed two small legs standing behind the clean sheets. She smiles to herself and remembers Bucky’s baby quilt was washed and hung also with the expected quarrel of not wanting it washed again. The baby blanket has become an obsession with him she thinks to herself, and moves on to another chore without any more thought.
Bucky is standing hands clutched to the baby quilt as if he is part of the cloth. His grandmother made this quilt and each little block is now barely hanging on to themselves.





With each wash, Bucky now has to have his mom repair a seam or two. If his family only knew the magic of those blocks locked together as one. Bucky has an older brother not sure of his age. Knowledge a seven year old doesn’t need to know. And twin sisters that are four and come at him most of the time as one big twisting sister menace. They bombard him with questions and tornado destruction to everything in their way. They rule this house and the family that lives inside.
Bucky has always sat at this breakfast table with his feet dangling from the huge chairs.





His fear, something grabbing his feet and dragging him under while his mom innocently works about the kitchen area. Now, looking out from under his trusted blanket, he uses the same table for a safe haven to hide beneath. Bucky is now wrapped in his friend the Navigator, only his little freckled nose pokes out. On this mission, he and the Navigator want to find the hiding places of the Night Wheezers. So far, all he has to go on is the sound they make. At night when all the family sleeps, he is awake with the fear of sounds. How can his family sleep with the Night Wheezers loose in their home?
