A Division Commander got forced to flee to earth after his failed attempt to change the political climate on Planet Theara.
Shawn Wainwright's parents had lots of money and a well-kept secret. But Shawn didn't want to live off his parents' money because his parents were controlling parents. To prove he can make it without their help, Shawn sets out on his own.
Like many young adults, after being away for several years, he longed to enjoy the comforts his parents offered. But once he arrived at his parents' home, he finds they are out of town on work. Thinking he has the house to himself with no worries, he relaxes next to his parents' large in-ground swimming pool in their backyard.
What happened next changed his life. Strange-looking flying vehicles appeared out of nowhere above the treetops. These vehicles must be a military exercise! But no! The military would never assemble in such a formation, and the flashing lights were too bright. If these were not some new US military aircraft, they must be from a foreign country. A foreign government has somehow invaded the airspace of the greatest nation on the planet! But Shawn is wrong in his estimation. This military comes from another world!

INTRODUCTION
Since the time of creation, humans have had a thirst for knowledge. That thirst has taken humans to the inner parts of the Earth and to the vast, never-ending depths of space. What drives a person with a desire to explore the unknown and figure out the impossible? Some would say it’s embedded within the soul and yearns to escape. Others may say it’s necessary to know what it will take to survive in an ever-changing environment. Whatever the reason, humans are on a journey to seek, find, understand, and explain the unexplainable. Human beings from the Earth are the masters of the universe—or so we seem to think. We know all. If we don’t know the answer to a problem, scientists will attempt to find out the answer and the reason as to why we did not see the answer in the first place!
In past times, human beings explored space. Countries competed to see which would be the first to explore and colonize a planet in our galaxy. It appeared there was nothing humankind could not do. Alas! There was one thing people could not figure out. It has plagued men since time began. It has caused brothers to go head-to-head and best friends to become mortal enemies. That dilemma is how to get along with each other without using war to settle differences. It takes only one person to start the ball of envy rolling. It takes only one person to brainwash a nation, to control an entire population of foreigners. Two world wars can attest to that.
Does life exist on other planets? We’ve spent years trying to prove that life exists in the cosmos. It’s part of our search to explain the unexplainable. We must be the only intelligent life in the universe. In the many decades of space exploration and the sending out of radio-wave messages to the far end of space as we know it, not once has there been a response from other planets. But what if some world out in space received those messages? A planet that the scientists of today do not know exists. What if we are not the only intelligent life in the universe? What if there was another planet in the far reaches of space. A world tucked deep within a different universe? A planet more advanced than the Earth, yet further behind this planet in some ways? What would happen if the Earth’s inhabitants contacted the inhabitants of that planet from a parallel universe?
We know the United States as the leader of the free nations, and many other countries regard the United States as formidable. A strong president or military general have been the difference in leading the way and changing the United States’ history. But sometimes history has a way of repeating itself and producing the one person at the right time to change history for the good of all humans. Sometimes it’s a person people would not ordinarily look up to for courage and inspiration.
The aftermath of wars can influence the world and how people view each other. It was the age of computers on Earth, and many people felt books no longer served a purpose. Why open a book when a hand-held electronic reader was just as handy and could place many books at a person’s disposal at the touch of a button? This new electronic age allowed people on Earth to recycle millions and millions of books. Why should a tree get destroyed when an electronic device served just as well? The entire planet was onboard with the disposal of written books. Over time, humans on Earth destroyed most of all written books.
Today, the people of Earth store all books on electronic devices such as computers or electronic readers.
This story is an account of a planet in a distant universe similar to Earth. A world that had kept silent from Earth. But some inhabitants of that planet broke the silence and traveled to our world. The silence got broken for a reason. But what was that reason? Did a particular message from Earth cause the inhabitants of that distant planet to react? Did that planet perceive the message as a threat? The signals have already been sent out. Is this world prepared to receive a response? These are just a few questions needing answers.
As the people from Earth want answers, the aliens breaking the silence could ask more questions: “Are we a peaceful planet?” and “Why do we want to contact beings on a different planet?”
Many would say we have everything we need here on Earth—or do we?
What will happen when the inhabitants of two planets from different universes come into contact? Will both worlds have the same intentions of letting peace reign? Some would say no. But Earth is the most fantastic planet in all universes! Will those radio-wave messages sent into space cause the little planet called Earth to be invaded by aliens from a different galaxy? Who would dare answer our call into space and step foot on Earth to cause problems? Let us discover the answers to some of these questions.

CHAPTER ONE
A Faraway Land
The land was dry as any desert. For miles around, the only view was of hills and hills of sand. In the middle of those vast hills of sand was the only visible vegetation surrounding the sole water source for several miles in any direction. As Landry rode his mule-drawn cart down one of these hills leading to the water, he could feel the tug of his mule on the reins. The mule could smell the water and was eager to have a refreshing drink.
“Steady, Freeborn!” Landry said, trying not to raise his voice. He pulled the reins on the mule tighter to slow the cart’s pace.
Freeborn was the name of the mule pulling the cart. Landry considered Freeborn his best friend since he spent more time with the animal than many other people in the area. Freeborn was
