Description

The Voyage of Ayrus is a philosophical tale for everyone. It tells the story of a young man who pursues an initiation quest in order to uncover the secrets of the elixir of life and pill of immortality.
During his journey, Ayrus will try to recover his distant origins throught contact with ancestral traditions. His trek will take him in several regions of the world, including America, the Black Continent, Clowntown and Asia.
With a blend of imagination and realism, this book describes a possible path for all individuals, which is to restore a link to one's own Inner Light.
Though Lumick could perceive the beauty emanating from the star, the light-years that separated them left him with a feleling of loss. Reaching up with his hand he would have liked to capture the brilliance of that star and absorb it forever, but he was unable to do so: his body and vibrations could not carry such energy. The desire to be united forever had given rise to a feeling of emptiness.

Foreword
I gave life to this text during a sabbatical year. At that time, I felt a great need for introspection in order to re-evaluate my direction in life. I needed to create a story to help me reconnect with a Light beyond my human identity.
The creation of this book has provided me with invaluable support in my personal development. It was, at times, a life buoy that came to my rescue during difficult moments.
This book speaks of life and death, and certain passages allude to the existence of past lives. This is not meant in support of any religion or philosophy.
Enjoy the read!
The Author
Ayrus
In a zone of sidereal space, he who is known by many names convened a meeting and luminous beings assembled as he had instructed. Some called him the Creator or the Father. Others referred to him as the Central Sun. An old tradition on the planet Gaia identified him as the Great Spirit. Others yet claimed that he was God.
And so, throughout the ages and the millennia, he was known by many names. Without ever losing any of his strength, he emanated Light in all things, as he had always done since the beginning of time.
It was an emergency that caused him to assemble his followers. In a deep, resonating voice, he said:
My dear Children, there is presently a planet that is in danger and going through a crucial period. I am referring to Gaia, the Earth. Things are in disarray there because the men and women who inhabit it are having a hard time reconnecting with their inner essence. I would like to know who among you would feel called upon to travel to Gaia on a mission.
Silence fell on the assembly. Each syllable pronounced by the speaker vibrated intensely within everyone. The vibration of his words reverberated throughout the immensity of all the galaxies.
One of the entities who heard the call was named Ayrus. He belonged to the family of the solar stars. His greatest passion was to listen to the words of the Father and every time he did, he would merge with the vibrant source of the message and enter into a clear telepathic communication with it.
When Ayrus heard the question, a vigorous electrical discharge gave rise to a sudden, joyful exaltation. Without thinking any further, he answered spontaneously: Me!
Everyone turned to look in his direction. Ayrus had not taken the time to weigh the pros and cons of such an adventure: an intense current of energy had simply expressed itself through him. He so loved travelling and discovering hitherto new and unexplored places. Once again, this vagabond of space felt a calling that would propel him to a new place.
The Father, who knew each of his Children intimately, knew precisely which of them were supposed to go to planet Gaia.
You have answered well, he said. Come and see me when this meeting is over.
Happy as a lark, Ayrus danced and whirled around, and his entire being vibrated to the rhythm of a great effervescence. As the meeting continued others also responded affirmatively. One after the other, they took note of the moment assigned to them for a talk with the Most-High. Then, a bell signified the end of the gathering and Ayrus presented himself alone, as he had been instructed to do.
I have things to tell you about your approaching departure, said the Father. After a slight pause, he continued, Listen carefully. You need Gaia as Gaia needs you. It will not be the first time that you have visited this planet.
No? questioned Ayrus, startled.
You have been there many times, but you no longer remember. When beings complete their trips to Gaia, their spirits return to the Light. But before you can return to me and get back to your present state, you must cross what we call the land of forgetting. That is where you have left behind all your previous lifetimes on Gaia.
Ayrus excitement was now overshadowed with questions:
Will I have to cross this zone again on my way down? he asked.
Yes, and that also means you will reconnect with all your past lives. Furthermore, this will cause you to forget your origins.
Forget my origins?
Yes. The zone of forgetting will burden you with density and heaviness. When you arrive on Gaia, you will no longer remember this bond that unites us.
Deeply disturbed, Ayrus could not make sense of these words. He expressed his profound incomprehension:
But Father, it is impossible that I should forget you!
Your faith will serve you well. Your stay on Gaia will lead you to experience a profound darkness. But if you know how to reestablish order within yourself, you will be reborn to the Light and you will once again hear my voice.
Ayrus did not know what to say. The Creator continued,
Wherever you go, I will always be with you Go now. You must meet with the coordinator.
Feeling visibly distraught, he who had volunteered took his leave from the Father, thanking him for the time spent together. What had he gotten himself into?
He then went to see the coordinator. Such was the procedure before any departure, regardless of the chosen destination.
I am here by order of the Father, said Ayrus.
I was expecting you, replied his host. My job is to organize your stay on Gaia so that you may fulfill your mission. I have identified the key stages that you will have to go through. I have had to contact many souls, some of whom reside on Gaia and others who are presently with us. Appointments have been set. These souls will cross your path during your stay on Gaia, and if you can perceive what they have come to teach you even in the most difficult moments, they will help you find us.
And what will happen if I miss an appointment? asked Ayrus.
It is indeed possible for connections to be missed, but have no fear: the Father and I will keep an eye on the situation and if necessary, we will try to set up another opportunity, said the coordinator.
Ayrus thanked him and in mutual respect, they bowed to each other. Upon leaving that meeting, musical notes became audible. Many different sounding instruments were playing joyfully. A cry arose from the orchestra:
Ayrus is here!
Come, dear friend. We have organized a celebration in your honour! said someone.
In my honour? asked Ayrus.
Yes, just for you! We are aware that you are leaving soon on a long trip and we wish to honour you for the decision that you have taken.
With a converging enthusiasm, all the members began applauding Ayrus warmly and congratulating him. Visibly moved, Ayrus now perceived this new adventure as a real privilege.
A little later, in the high spheres of the cosmos, a voice full of wisdom resounded.
The time has come, announced the Father.
I am ready! affirmed Ayrus.
The eternal flame that unites us burns in you. Regardless of the darkness that may creep around you, always keep this flame burning. Thus, I will always be by your side.
I promise.
I have asked some of your friends to accompany you to the planet Gaia. You will need them. And now, may what has been written in the Great Book of Life be realized. Go my Son. Bless you.
Ayrus kept these last words preciously inside of him. He left, confident of success and totally filled with the presence of the Creator.
Heading for Gaia
Ayrus soared, escorted by eight angels from a most luminous region of space. They were recognizable by their pure white, finely sculpted wings. They were there to ensure that their compatriot made it safe and sound to Gaia, the Earth.
The trip began without incident and the communication among the members of the crew was perfect. Ayrus maintained direct contact with the Father, even though the distance between them was increasing. No physical distance could truly separate them.
Armed with an unshakeable confidence, the happy traveller was fully savouring his escapade. Planet after planet streamed past him. Ayrus would have liked to stop on one of them, drawn by the orange hues and the round surface, but the angel Taziel forbade it, calling him to order. Gaia was the chosen destination and nothing else. He accepted it gracefully and continued on his way.
After having crossed twelve galaxies and seen millions of stars, they arrived at the sun that illuminated the Earth from a distance of more than one hundred and fifty million kilometers. Ayrus asked the angels permission
