INTRODUCTIONTHE AGE OF AQUARIUSThe Age of Aquarius is the harmonization of the material world with the spiritual world; to achieve this, humans must develop their maximum mental and physical potential by applying three basic rules: Rest Exercise A healthy diet I. Rest Rest is the cessation or absence of movement; it is also peace of mind.  Rest may be acquired in different ways, such as: sleep, meditation, relaxation, etc.  a. Sleep 1. Definition Sleep is the state in which an individual’s sensitivity and activities are suspended.
 2.
 3.
 b.
The required amount of sleep
The required amount of sleep may vary for each individual depending on different factors such as:
Workload Stress Physical fitness Health, etc.
It is generally agreed upon that eight hours of sleep is a reasonable average to allow the regeneration of one’s physical and mental state.
Other ways to rest
Even though sleep is always necessary, there are others ways to achieve even greater levels of rest, such as:
Meditation Relaxation, etc.
Meditation
Meditation is a simple, natural and easy mental technique that is practiced 15 to 20 minutes twice daily, thus providing deep rest while experiencing the source of thought.
