Candy Crush is a highly addictive game that has been around in Facebook since May 2012. This game was developed by King and was later released for iPhone and Android in November 2012. This game is so popular it dethroned Farmville from the top of the charts in Facebook games and enjoys 41 million likes (and counting) in that social networking site.


The mechanics of the game is fairly simple: all you need to do is combine three or more candies of the same variant to make a crush. Combining four or more candies makes another variant that allows you to do more damage on the board. Depending on the level, you may be asked to clear jellies, bring down ingredients, hit a certain score, or make orders. Doing these things gets harder as you progress, making the game a lot more exciting. Since this is a social game, you can ask help from your friends, and of course, earn some bragging rights when you pass them on a level or make awesome combinations.
