About the Author
Rob Thoms has been quiz writing for 20 years, ever since he first moved to London and sought a living by compiling weekly quizzes for various pubs along Oxford Street. His interests are many, and he has written questions on subjects as far ranging as university boat races and 18 th century astronomers, although he prefers to keep things mainstream and lists football, food, poetry and pop music as his favourite pastimes. He has had a poem published in a highbrow literary magazine, but this was overshadowed by an article he had published in the official Arsenal match day programme! He says: “If I were ever to become Poet Laureate I’d still write quizzes, because there is just too much pointless trivia in my head to keep all to myself!”
