Preface
We are moving very fast in the digital world. Its digital revolution and content play an important role. It is very important to manage content effectively, make content secure, targeted, collaborate more to work together to save cost, time, improve quality with more produce works. SharePoint is the giant of providing a collation tool when managing everything related to content comes into the picture. SharePoint Online by Microsoft is one of the finest software as a service (SaaS) that provides smart features and keeps on upgrading tools, rolling out new features to manage content smartly, with more security.
The primary goal of this book is to providea clear concept of sharepoint online. The book covers each and every newly introduced smart setting in the SharePoint Online site, like a user manual or field guide which you can follow to do the task, with very simple words but advanced-level production task experience as the outcome. Every setting in SharePoint is covered as a screenshot, so there will not be any problem if you are not accessing any SharePoint site. You will not face any problem since all images are taken considering user understanding step by step. This book is divided into 13 chapters, and it provides a detailed description of SharePoint Online basics to new advanced level settings. Over the 13 chapters in this book, you will learn the following:
Section I: Introduction and New Features in SharePoint Online
Chapter 1: Introduction and Site Information, covers, rewind SharePoint content concept, what is the scope of power user role, Revised SharePoint templates, Creating sites and subsites using site template, Getting started with site settings, basic modification in the site and how to select the right template for right business work
