Sample Book Insights:
#1 The law of attraction is the basis of The Source. It describes the way that we can create the relationships, situations, and material things that come into our lives as a direct result of the way we think. We manifest them by focusing on them, visualizing them, and directing our energy towards them.
#2 The intention point is the meeting place between heart and mind, but science shows that there is more than just blind faith in this notion. When we set a goal from the intention point, our intuition, our deepest emotions, and our rational thinking line up and work in harmony rather than conflict.
#3 The author helped his client, Pippa, create an action board that visualized her life as she wanted it to be. She was able to see what she wanted and identify the logical issues that were clouding her decision.
#4 The intention point is a metaphor that describes how our brain and body are integrated. When we are able to integrate our mind and body more fully, our motivation and energy will align in a powerful way.

#1

The law of attraction is the basis of The Source. It describes the way that we can create the relationships, situations, and material things that come into our lives as a direct result of the way we think. We manifest them by focusing on them, visualizing them, and directing our energy towards them.

#2

The intention point is the meeting place between heart and mind, but science shows that there is more than just blind faith in this notion. When we set a goal from the intention point, our intuition, our deepest emotions, and our rational thinking line up and work in harmony rather than conflict.

#3

The author helped his client, Pippa, create an action board that visualized her life as she wanted it to be. She was able to see what she wanted and identify the logical issues that were clouding her decision.

#4

The intention point is a metaphor that describes how our brain and body are integrated. When we are able to integrate our mind and body more fully, our motivation and energy will align in a powerful way.

#5

Your intention should be bold and reflect the area of your life that you want to change. It should be exciting and motivating. When you close your eyes, and imagine it becoming real, you should be able to see the picture in your mind and feel it in your gut.

#6

There is a battle between abundance and lack in most people’s minds. When we think from a perspective of lack, our primary motivation is fear. We are highly attuned to what we don’t have and what won’t work, as well as the deficiencies of our self and our situation.

#7

The way we think is adaptable, and we can change it to allow for abundant living. Abundant thinking relies on a willingness to change our patterns of thinking and make space for the new, and it requires us to let go of past beliefs and assumptions.

#8

Ask yourself whether you have any deeply held beliefs that could be preventing you from making the changes you say you want to in any area of your life. For example, you may be overloaded at work, but instead of delegating tasks, you find reasons not to do it because you enjoy having the power and control of being the only person with the knowledge.

#9

To live an abundant life, you must commit to and consciously work at changing your habituated patterns of thinking. This requires effort and repetitive practice. Where lack thinking is deeply entrenched, there will be multitudes of neurons and neural pathways where a cascade of worst-case scenario if. . then. thinking has become second nature.

#10

One way to begin thinking more abundantly is to change the way you consider failure. With a lack mentality, failures are taken up by a told you so inner critic and used to bolster the belief that there is little point in persisting when it comes to ambitious goals.

#11

The Law of Attraction states that we can manifest our dreams by focusing on them, and that we can achieve this by committing to them and taking action. Too often, our deepest desires and the intentions we choose are at odds with each other.

#12

When our desires and intentions are in alignment, we can begin to manifest the life we want by engaging all our senses in the imagining and visualisation of it. Our dreams begin to feel tangible to our brain.

#13

Selective attention is the cognitive process in which the brain attends to a small number of sensory inputs while filtering out what it deems unnecessary distractions. It is the part of the limbic system called the thalamus that manages the brain’s selective filtering.

#14

The brain’s limbic system decides what we should retain as conscious thoughts and memories. It is therefore important to raise our aspirations and future plans from non-conscious and vaguely defined to fully conscious.

#15

Value tagging is the importance your brain assigns to every piece of information it is exposed to. It is an unconscious activity that precedes every action in response to a stimulus and therefore directs your ensuing response.

#16

Positive desire is the mentality that we can make good things happen, and it is the emotional intensity of that desire that drives it towards a tangible outcome. Intense emotion gives us renewed energy and confidence to carry out new actions that turn the positive desire into reality.

#17

My own journey to magnetic desire has been a work in progress, with the toughest times absolutely becoming the biggest turning points. I was in my mid-thirties when I made my career leap, and I quit my job to start over. I had a vision of being a successful coach by 2011, and I determined that I would be earning more than I ever had as a doctor.

#18

I had to live with my parents and my best friend’s parents, and when I finally started renting a studio flat, I sometimes had to accept money from my ex-husband to pay the rent. I remained flexible and open to opportunities that came my way.
