Sample Book Insights:
#1 The idea of pre-birth planning is startling, but it can also be extremely beneficial. It suggests that you plan out your life challenges before you are born, and that you do so to facilitate your personal growth and the acquisition of wisdom.
#2 The stories in this book are full of wisdom that can be applied to your life. The chapters that discuss the stories’ metaphysical aspects provide you with an understanding of the wisdom they contain.
#3 The planning we do before birth is far-reaching and detailed. It includes but goes beyond the selection of life challenges. We choose our parents, when and where we will incarnate, the schools we will attend, the homes in which we will live, the people we will meet, and the relationships we will have.
#4 The third option is to go to a place where the music of Home does not play, and then create your own music. This takes you away from the external noise and leads you to the melodies in your heart.

#1

The idea of pre-birth planning is startling, but it can also be extremely beneficial. It suggests that you plan out your life challenges before you are born, and that you do so to facilitate your personal growth and the acquisition of wisdom.

#2

The stories in this book are full of wisdom that can be applied to your life. The chapters that discuss the stories’ metaphysical aspects provide you with an understanding of the wisdom they contain.

#3

The planning we do before birth is far-reaching and detailed. It includes but goes beyond the selection of life challenges. We choose our parents, when and where we will incarnate, the schools we will attend, the homes in which we will live, the people we will meet, and the relationships we will have.

#4

The third option is to go to a place where the music of Home does not play, and then create your own music. This takes you away from the external noise and leads you to the melodies in your heart.

#5

Life plans are set up so we experience who we are not before we remember who we really are. We explore the discordant sounds in our lives before we recreate the symphonies of Home.

#6

When you accept a specific life challenge, you can receive healing energy from those who have blazed a trail. The path of light is paved with compassion and healing love that raises the frequency of the person traveling the road behind them.

#7

The concepts of oneness and separation are important to understand why we choose to experience life challenges. When we are in spirit, we have a continuous awareness of our inseverable link with all other beings. We know we are one with one another and the entirety of creation.

#8

We plan life challenges in part for our own personal growth. We plan them to learn about ourselves and the world around us. When we are in spirit and aware of our oneness with one another, we view service as a basic purpose of life and see opportunities to serve as wondrous blessings.

#9

The theme of this book is love, and the reason we are all here is to learn how to love. We are love temporarily hidden from itself, but when we remember who we really are, our inner light, our love, shines forth for all to see.
Insights from Chapter 2

#1

The idea of pre-birth planning is to consider the challenges that every human will face in life. One question that intrigued me was whether or not souls plan to have specific illnesses, and if so, why.

#2

On Jan. 23, 1997, Jon was diagnosed with AIDS. He had felt shamed by the harsh words of more than one romantic partner.

#3

AIDS and Jon’s near-death experience helped him overcome his shame, but he still faced another tribulation: the Angel of Death.

#4

As a channel, Glenna Dietrich enters a trance in which the consciousness of another being speaks through her. Some channels are fully aware of every word spoken by the channeled entity; others have a vague awareness of what is discussed though they are not able to recall specific words.

#5

The angel explained that life challenges are designed to show us how our thoughts and feelings create our reality. We must learn to recognize them as such. Wisdom allows us to recognize them as such.

#6

The experience of AIDS helps Jon grow as a soul, as it forces him to face himself and his true identity. It is the necessity of recognizing that all love is deserved, and that unconditional love is deserved.

#7

The angel was explaining to me how physical illness can help stimulate spiritual healing. The angel was helping me understand how the human body can only handle low frequencies, and how people allow themselves only glimpses into the higher frequencies.

#8

The experience of AIDS is a lesson in the balance between the light and the dark, the good and the bad, which exists in all of us.
