#1

The ancient Egyptians believed that everything in the natural world was divine. They gave animal heads to human bodies to demonstrate the interdependence of everything in the world.

#2

The gods are important to us now because they embody certain higher principles and are the spiritual exemplars and way-showers who can give us the guidance we need. We know we are born of stardust, a fact confirmed by science.

#3

The temples are a reflection of the spirit world. The rocks and the stones contain divine properties, and when enlivened through magic, they become divine embodiments.

#4

The Egyptian temples were used by countless thousands of people in future generations, because the work of the neteru endures in timelessness. The Egyptians used the energies inherent in the native limestone, quartzite, granite, gold, obsidian, and other precious metals and stones.

#5

The ancient Egyptian civilization was the result of a culture explosion that occurred between deserts, savannas, and seas. The longevity of that culture shows the possibilities of growth, abundance, and regeneration, even amid vast expanses of aridity, death, and seeming lifelessness.

#6

The Egyptians were able to build a temple because they were able to dedicate all of their available resources to the task. They were not building a house for a single generation or even their grandchildren. They were building structures that would last forever.

#7

Right timing is the ability to recognize propitious moments and be open to the transformation and consequent changes in consciousness that are unfolding. Magical things happen, but when they are seen in the context of kairos, true magic.

#8

The full moon was approaching, and Nicki was told to find two flat stones, each measuring about two by three feet, and place them on the ground at specific locations close to the edge of a pond on her land. They were later buried.

#9

The birth of Nicki was transpiring outside of time for her. She only remembers that on that full moon solstice night there was a specific window of time between the two moments of the full moon and the solstice during which this magical experience occurred.

#10

The Egyptian pantheon influenced the information that was coming in, and we had many Ah-ha! moments as the pieces came together. We wanted to determine the purpose of the new temple, and used the following temple purpose invocation to begin the retreat.

#11

The final two columns were dedicated to the goddess Selket, the scorpion goddess, who brings protection and guidance to help us accomplish our vision and mission. She helps us see our way out of danger and beyond ordinary limitations.

#12

The first Egyptian mysteries retreat was held at the Lyceum of Shamanic Egypt. It grounded and raised the columns dedicated to the first goddesses visitors pass between as they enter the Moon Temple of Thoth. It also established the pathway to the most sacred place, guarded by Sekhmet and Hathor, two gigantic statues.

#13

The moon temple is dedicated to Thoth, the Egyptian god of the left lunar eye. The moon god Thoth is associated with the left lunar eye, while Ra, the ancient Egyptian solar deity, is associated with the all-seeing solar right eye.

#14

Thoth is the architect of the Egyptian civilization, and he is the teacher who brings forward his wisdom through riddles. He loves to teach his students through riddles, and they must interpret and convey the message.

#15

The Egyptian god Thoth is the mediator of the gods, and he has always been the one they turn to when the going gets tough. He has shown us universes that are so far beyond our understanding that they are incomprehensible.

#16

Thoth is the god of wisdom, and he is typically represented by the sacred ibis or the baboon. He aids us in meditation by guiding our focus as we search the depths of consciousness for his true spiritual nourishment.

#17

The ancient city of Hermopolis, where many of the young scribes were trained, had a statue of the scribe Ramses-Nakht seated with a scroll on his knees in deep meditation. A baboon sat on his shoulders, staring straight ahead with deep concentration.

#18

Seshet is the celestial companion of Thoth. She is the cosmic dust that is the Akasha, the record in which everything is written. Seshet holds the patterns from the cosmic dust all the way down to your DNA.

#19

The Egyptian temples were built using the Akasha, the matrix from which all the elements are derived and wherein all the knowledge of the ages is stored. The Akashic blueprint enters this Earth plane and disappears when it is time for that particular civilization to end.

#20

Ma’at is the goddess of truth, justice, and cosmic order. She is often depicted wearing a single white feather on her head, and when the feather is depicted by itself, it represents the concept of ma’at.

#21

Thoth and Isis are the cosmic creative force and civilizing influence, respectively. They are the first pair of siblings in Egypt, and their relationship is what draws down the mysteries and puts them into a form that the planet can use.

#22

The myths of Egypt show us that the deities are constantly growing and improving their work with us. They are growing and improving their relationships with us, just like humans.

#23

The relationship between Nicki and Normandi is similar to the relationship between Thoth and Isis. They have worked together since 2002, when Normandi received the transmissions through Nicki and became part of the Thoth lineage that Nicki holds.

#24

The god Thoth created the first temples in Egypt, and he created them by inserting a stone from a previous temple into the new one. The stone carried with it the resonances of all the hymns that had been chanted there, all the offerings, the censer smoke, and the prayers of the people for the hundreds of years that the older temple had been there.
