Description

This book is the product of inspiration and motivation. The inspiration came in night visions upon my bed, when the Lord revealed to me events that shall shortly come to pass, beginning with the rapture of His Church, when Christ shall appear in the clouds and take his chosen people, those in the grave and those alive, to live with him in Heaven forever. "For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we who are alive and remain, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air." But alas, soon after the rapture, there will be widespread universal unrest, lawlessness and destruction, resulting in the utter breakdown of governments throughout the world during a period designated the great tribulation. Therefore, the motivation for this work, shrouded in allegory, is to inform, to caution and exhort all who may read it, to prepare to meet our God. Because the rapture will usher in a period of darkness, famine, hunger and out-of-control violence, a world in which men shall seek death but death itself will flee from them. One such symbol is that of the rider of the pale horse. "And I looked and behold, a pale horse, and his name that sat upon him was Death, and Hell followed with him."

Chapter One

The Command
It is four o’clock in the morning, and I should be asleep. I was asleep; but the Lord spoke to me; He woke me up and said, “Get up and write!” I looked at the time. It was a minute or so after 4:00 a.m.
“Could not this wait until tomorrow?” I questioned.
“Get up and write!” He commanded.
Well, I can be stubborn sometimes; so, I closed my eyes tightly, and tried to force myself to sleep; but less than a minute later, a car’s alarm went off in the parking lot. I listened for a while. “Could it be my car?”
Don’t think so, I thought to myself. Soon the alarm stopped.
“Go back to sleep,” I said to myself again. I hugged my pillow and tried to sleep; but the alarm went off again. I got up, and peeped through the blinds; but I could not see my car. I began to wonder; soon, wonder turned to doubt, and doubt to agony.
“Where did I park?” I couldn’t remember exactly where; sleep was still saturating my eyes, and the lights were still dimmed in my brain. “But suppose my car is being stolen while I lie here wrestling with myself, being caught between action and inaction!” Eventually, I got up and went through the front door with nothing on my feet, a big no, no for me. The only time I catch a cold is when I walk on cold tiles, or cold concrete, especially first thing in the morning.
I saw a car in the far corner with lights flashing. It was not my car.
“Alright,” I said, “Lord, you win as always. A cup of coffee and I will be good to go.”
Before beginning, however, I think I ought to make it clear that I am not a prophet, nor am I a prophet’s son. I am not a seer, and I do not presume to foresee or foretell in the Old Testament sense. But in the sense of being called to tell forth, that is to say, to interpret and proclaim what saith the Lord in Holy Writ, I guess I can claim to be called a prophet in that sense, and in that sense only.
Accordingly, I feel led to write this book, and to lay out therein as frankly and plainly as possible, things that must shortly come to pass, and to tell forth how the people of the world, God’s people, as well as those who to their eternal detriment have stubbornly failed, or refused to take heed, will be affected by those events.
The reference to God’s people is a reference to those, and only those, who constitute ‘the called-out ones’ the Church; the redeemed; those who have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour, and who will go to live with God forever.
All others, whatever their race, creed, country or religion, constitute the ‘others’, and include those hard-hearted and stiff-necked Jews, God’s chosen people, who, owing to blindness in part, and stubbornness in part, have rejected and continue to reject, the Chosen One of Israel, and the rest of the Gentile world who also have stubbornly refused to accept God’s Son, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, to be their personal Saviour.
This discourse is not about salvation per se. It is not about preaching, or teaching, or trying in anyway, to convert anyone to the fold of Christianity. It is a grim WARNING. It is about letting the world know that Jesus the Christ is coming soon, and that there are serious, personal, implications for those who are not found worthy when He comes.
It is about telling the world, that includes you the individual, you the family, the Church, the sect, the village, the community, the city, the town, the State, the Country, that one day soon, sometime within the next twenty five years, yes, twenty five years, 180 months if you like, or 8399 days, if you please; and if the bigger figures give you more comfort, that within, not beyond, that time frame, the trumpet of the Lord shall sound, and the dead in Christ shall rise first, and then, those who are alive and remain faithful; those who are found standing in the holy place, will be caught up with Christ in glory, and leave all others behind, to face the most horrendous period in the history of the world.
It is about telling people that they will one day go through a period called the ‘great tribulation;’ a period of great and unprecedented trouble; a period so horrible that men will beg death to overtake them; but death would flee from them.
It is about warning the world to prepare to ESCAPE the tribulation period, by being raptured with Christ and His Church, or be left behind to perish; for in those days, all flesh will perish, save those to whom the Lord will extend His everlasting covenant of mercy, as He has promised to the seed of David.
It is about cautioning all those who call themselves Christians, who go to church Sunday after Sunday, or Saturday after Saturday, or any other day or period for that matter, dressed in their Sunday best, while their hearts and their lives are in a mess, to stop posturing, and get right with God.
At the end of this book there will be a calendar. It will set out a time-line, showing how that number of days is arrived at. Of course, by the time you would have received it, much time would have elapsed. The time to write, revise, re-write and prepare for publication; th
