E ach day in our lives is a journey, and the path we walk is never the same-at least it feels that way most days. Each morning, our best intention is to live each day receiving from God the direction, encouragement, hope, and confidence only He can provide.
Seeking God s guidance, discovering His plan, and living it out is a process we can nurture daily. These practices help us grow personally, and they provide inspiration and encouragement we can share with the people around us.

YOUR DAILY TIME WITH GOD
E ach new day is a gift from God, and if we are wise, we spend a few quiet moments each day in devotion and thanking the Giver. Daily life is woven together with the threads of habit, and no habit is more important to our spiritual health than the discipline of daily prayer and devotion to God.
When we begin each day with God, heads bowed and hearts lifted, we remind ourselves of His love, His protection, and His commandments. And if we are wise, we align our priorities for the coming day with the teachings and commandments God has given us through His Scriptures.
Are you seeking to change some aspect of your life? Would you like to improve your spiritual or physical health? If so, ask for God s help. And ask for it many times each day starting with your morning devotional.

GENEROUS GIVING
D o you want to improve your self-esteem? Being generous is a great first step. When you give generously to people who need your help, God will bless your endeavors and enrich your life. So if you re looking for a surefire way to improve the quality of your day or your life, here it is: Find ways to share your blessings.
God rewards generously just as surely as He disciplines us. If we become generous disciples as we serve our Lord, God will bless us in ways we cannot fully understand. But if we allow ourselves to become closed-minded and closefisted-either with our possessions or with our love-we deprive ourselves of the spiritual abundance that could be ours.
Do you seek God s abundance and His peace? Then share the blessings He has given you. Share your possessions, share your faith, share your story, and share your love. God will delight in your generosity-and your neighbors will too.
Each person should do as he has decided in his heart-not reluctantly or out of compulsion, since God loves a cheerful giver .

WHAT IS OUR PERSPECTIVE?
I f a temporary loss of perspective has left you worried, exhausted, or both, it s time to readjust your thought patterns. Negative thoughts are habit forming. Thankfully, so are positive ones. With practice, you can form the habit of focusing on God s priorities and your own possibilities. When you do, you ll soon discover you will spend less time fretting about your challenges and more time focusing on God s blessings and praising Him for His gifts.
When you call upon the Lord and prayerfully seek His will, He will give you wisdom and perspective. When you make God s priorities your priorities, He will direct your steps and calm your fears.
So ask God for a sense of balance and perspective. And remember, no problems are too big for Him-including yours.
All I m doing right now, friends, is showing how these things pertain to Apollos and me so that you will learn restraint and not rush into making judgments without knowing all the facts. It s important to look at things from God s point of view. I would rather not see you inflating or deflating reputations based on mere hearsay .
