Guarding Your Heart
Three monster spiritual, powerhouse words will change your life. In fact, the more you dig into God’s Word, the more you realize that what you do with these three words determines the outcome of your life, such as leading your family with spiritual strength and living a supernaturally charged, God-sized life. This world needs soldiers for Jesus Christ that will do everything to be right with God to make a huge impact on a world that needs Jesus so much. You’ve got to start here before you even start talking about anything else in your spiritual walk. Once you’ve got it right with God through a relationship with Jesus Christ, then get these three words right.
God gets into these three powerhouse words by putting His megaphone on. You can almost hear Him clear His throat and say, “All right, you ready?” Proverbs 4:23 says, “Above all else, guard your heart.” Why? Your heart is the wellspring of life; it is the source of everything you’ll ever say and do—every affection, every action, and every attitude. Guard this thing; put a sentinel around it. Put Navy Seal Team around it. Do whatever you’ve got to do to be sure you keep this thing clean—your source clean.
