While deployed in the Middle East with the Army, I resolved to write a book as a gift for my best friend’s younger son’s upcoming bar mitzvah. The intent of this book was to provide insight into God’s historic plan that leads to salvation. As stated in Peter, God does not want anyone to perish. God’s plan is plain to see, and God lays out his plan in exquisite detail throughout the Old Testament. This book is designed to be read by someone who knows little to nothing about the Bible but will also speak to those who have great biblical knowledge. Each chapter gives a building insight into God’s design for salvation and provides a convincing case for the Lordship of Jesus Christ. The book culminates in the conclusion, where God’s historic plan is made clear.
HisStory is a book about God as told through the history of the Old Testament. Broken into twelve chapters, each provides a revelation into God’s plan for all mankind. Why are we here? What is our purpose in this life? Why does evil exist in the world? How is anything that happened thousands of years ago relevant to your life today?
