Description

You think you know how deep the rabbit hole goes.

Having grown up in church, there was always something about the gospel that didn’t quite click for me. I am sure most can relate to the narrative of good vs evil, heaven vs hell or even God vs the devil, and this is true: the thing about truth is that it has many facets. I always felt like there is more in the bible that isn’t being talked about. Most can relate to a scripture jumping off of the page and becoming real to you because it was heard in a way that it hasn’t been heard before. This book is an embodiment of that experience I live in a suburb of Tulsa and in 2001 I was in a car accident that put me in a coma for 6 weeks. I then was in wheel chair and rehab for about 3 months learning how to walk again and everything that comes with being autonomous. This is where the scriptures I had heard and read my whole life were starting be understood from a place of completion.

The Bible was like a new book because I started to understand that I wasn’t trying to follow it’s directions to get God to do something that hasn’t been done. He has already done everything and I am trying to keep myself in a position to receive what has always been available.

This book will not change Jesus and His death, burial and resurrection from being the main thing. It will solidify the fact that Gentiles have never been under the Law of Moses and they are the only ones that can accuse themselves. The only thing we need to be concerned with is Jesus being a new High Priest and keeping His one commandment.

INTRODUCTION
As I brush away some wax from the table top and close the window because the sound of horsemen is distracting, I ask myself what is behind the “Bride of Christ” allegory? Yes, it helps us have more of an understanding of His love and compassion towards us, but is there something we have missed in this common correlation? If we go back to Genesis to the creation of man we can see that he, man, was created in the image of God and man was created both male and female.

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them - Genesis 1:26-27
I have always been led to believe that in was a cinematic experience where everything spoken by God took on form as the words left his mouth but if you read the story and not just read into it what you have been taught you start to see something different
“And the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” – Genesis 2:7
So at this point we have man and 2 stories of the creation of man. Genesis 2:5 helps separate the events of Genesis 1 and 2.
….there was not a man to till the ground. – Genesis 2:5
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. (Genesis 2:7)
Man, like everything else has to be created before it can be formed
Then in the garden, out of the ground, made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food.
-Genesis 2:9
This is a paradigm shift because I have always taught that God spoke it and it appeared. Hebrews provides more of an explanation.
“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” – Hebrews 11:3
So all of the things in Genesis 1 were spoken and created in faith: the power of the invisible, and then God created them from the dust of the ground (Genesis 2:7, 9,19).
“For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.” – Romans 1:20
And then…
“the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. And “out of the ground” the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name there of and Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.” - Genesis 2:18-20
So, we then have Adam naming all of the cattle and fowl and beast but there was not found a help meet. Now this is interesting because it seems provide an answer to the dinosaur question, not directly, but if you believe man is an image of God then it would be safe to assume that everything we experience God experienced on some level. The leap I am trying to make is, God: both male and female, wanted a help meet also and He created dinosaurs: beast of the field, and every fowl of the air.
Psalms 104
28 That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.
29 Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.
30 Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.
This I believe is a reference to the creation and extinction of dinosaurs: a beast of the field you might say. He wasn’t satisfied with dinosaurs and returned them to dust which is where fossils come from. He renewed the face of the earth and decided to make Man in his own image. He formed from the earth an earthen vessel and breathed part of himself into it: the Spirit. We see the same type of thing happen (taking out of one to form two) with man…
“21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.” – Genesis 2: 21-22
Rib in verse 22 is Strong’s H6763 and means: side, rib, beam, can also be used to describe “side-chambers or cells (of temple structure)”.
This is interesting because 1 Corinthians 6:19 says that out bodies are temples of God.
This is why we, believers, are referred to as a “bride” in the Bible because man, when filled with the spirit, has the female part of God. The Holy Spirit is referred to as the comforter: g3875 – summoned, called to one’s side, esp. called to one’s aid. A “help meet” of sorts. The same thing He said man needed.
This presentation of truth is a way that the natural reflects the spiritual (Romans 1:20)
Sin is anoun
“1 Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” – Genesis 3:1-5
I read this and think to myself, serpents talked? I believe I have located the answer to the question.
“6 And the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died. 7 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord, and against thee; pray unto the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. 8 And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. 9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.” Number 21:5-9
I have always understood this to mean that God summoned poisonous snakes and they bit the people and the ones who did not gaze upon the serpent of brass died because fiery means poisonous
Fiery: H8314 – poisonous serpent.
The other meaning for the word translated as fiery is majestic beings with 6 wings, human hands or voices in attendance upon God. This is the same word translated as Seraphim in Isaiah 6:2,6.
Going back to Genesis 3, when Eve had an interaction with the (seraphim) serpent, she was quick to answer with what God had said (Genesis 3:4) but God never said that to Eve specifically, God said this to Adam when he was still male and female.
“16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” – Genesis 2:16-17
The serpents, who I believe is sin, response to Eve gives us a little insight to what the temptation was: restoration. The serpent said “Ye shall be as gods”. Eve was already a god created in the image of God but she was no longer defined as man or gods: both male and female. A person would have to go to the new testament to get a better understanding of what happened.
“Wherefore, as by one man (Adam and Eve) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” – Romans 5:12
What I see here is through one man’s offence (Romans 5:17) sin entered the world; not one man’s sin because sin was not in the world yet.
