THE GOOD SHEPHERD
Christ is the good Shepherd
He takes good care of me
When I am wounded,
To the Rock of Ages, I flee
He’s provided living waters
That’s made me free and whole
I was heading the wrong direction
When He saved my sin sick soul
Christ is the good Shepherd
He watches over me tenderly
If the enemy comes to stalk me
Jesus says we belong to him
Get behind me, Satan, you’ve lost again, you see
By the blood of the precious Lamb of God
I now have been set free
Christ is the good Shepherd
He’s the shelter from the storm
In His arms I find protection
I am safe from all alarm
In green pastures, He leads me
Where living waters flow
If I follow In His footsteps
Closer to Him I’ll grow
Matthew 18:11
For the Son of Man is come to save that which was lost
GOODNESS AND MERCY
Oh, how great is His goodness and mercy
Blessed be His Holy Name
For sinner such as I, my blessed Savior came
He’s my rock and my deliverer in this troubled, weary land
When the way seems dark and dreary
He guides me with His hand
His eyes are upon the righteous
His ears are open to our cry
He’s faithful as He promised
On His strength we can rely
Many are the afflictions of the righteous
But the Lord delivered us out of them all
The wicked may rise up against us
But He’ll be there when we call
He’ll make His face shine upon me

In His Word I find peace and comfort
He’s always listening when I pray

Oh how great is His goodness which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee.
HE’S PROMISED
A life lived by Faith will be a life full of joy
Though the pressures of life and temptations annoy
We have the promise He’ll be by our side
And under the shadow of His wings we will ever abide
He’s promised He’ll never leave nor forsake
And not a promise He’s given will He ever break
Our doubts and our fears will vanish away
If we trust in Jesus and earnestly pray
Though our earthly friends may sometimes seem few
We can look to the One who will always be true
In every situation in life we may face
We can look to our Father
We can trust in His grace.
II Peter 1:4
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises
MY SONG
God sent a little bird one day to sing for me a song
He perched upon my window sill
As if he had been drawn
He seemed to know that I was ill
And feeling down and out
Cause he turned toward me and sang his song
Just for me without a doubt
I know my Father sent this special song
To cheer and comfort me
For He knows my needs, He hears my prayers
And by my side He’ll always be.

Be of good courage and He shall strengthen your heart all ye that hope in the Lord.
BLESS ME INDEED
Like Jabez of old I pray unto thee
Wherever there’s a need, please, Jesus, send me
Let your hand be upon me in this harvest so great
For multitudes are dying in sin oh we must not wait
I ask you for your strength for I’m trusting in you
Give me souls for my labor if it be just a few
I only want to be a servant humble and true
Sowing seeds of kindness telling of your great love
How you sent your precious Son from Heaven above
Lord, I’m so unworthy but please bless me indeed
As I go my way rejoicing bearing precious seed
