Description

Discover how the Lord’s miracles continue today—and how walking with Him can heal body, soul, and mind.

Do you have an impossible situation that you can’t figure out?

The Holy Spirit is bringing an answer to you today, but you must pick up this book. In it, you’ll learn about the power of God and the miracles of Jesus.

You’ll also discover how those miracles continue today—and how walking with the Lord can heal body, soul, and mind. Even more importantly, you’ll learn how to help others who’ve lost hope.

Testimonies in this book include:

• a woman whose ring finger lengthened to the exact length as the same finger on her other hand—right in front of her eyes;

• a woman with hair loss who had it restored after prayer;

• a woman with legions of devils that were cast out, which helped her find peace and employment.

Numerous questions and space to write journal entries are provided throughout the book to promote learning.

As you grow in faith and work on behalf of the Lord, you will see miracles firsthand. However, if you’re complacent, you will never walk in the power of God.

About the Author
FOREWORD
My lovely wife is Alice Smith, and we have four wonderful children. I have been amazed by her love for our Lord Jesus Christ and for people in general. She consistently gives out presents to her co-workers for birthdays and Christmas, even when there is no reciprocation. She volunteered for years, and at The Salvation Army received a service award. At every church we attended over the years, she would teach in children’s church, oftentimes becoming the leader of the department.
In our home, she taught scriptures and sang songs to our children. I always marveled at how she remembered four or more stanzas of these songs just from hearing these songs in church as a child. Besides children, another of her loves is going to the nursing homes and praying for the residents. She never tires of her commitment to serve the Lord and to help other people. As you read this book, you will share in her journey of what God has done in her life and in the lives of others. My hope is that this will open your mind to what God can do in your life and encourage you to have more of God’s influence as you begin to allow more of God in your life.

PREFACE
This book is dedicated to my husband, Ray Smith who has helped me and loved me through the processes of my life. I thank God for my four children: Raina, Jeremy, Jenna, and Aaron. They are special in the Lord and will do great exploits for Jesus Christ.
This book is also dedicated to my beautiful mom, Ruth, who raised me and loved me. Oh, how I love her so. I miss you, Mom. Love, Alice.
This book is also dedicated to my siblings: Caesar, Telitha, Eric, Ruthanne, Ed, and Rosie. Thank you for all you do.
This book is also dedicated to my brother David McNebb, whose life showed the miracles, signs, and wonders that he did on this earth for Jesus Christ. He was known as a street disciple who won many souls to the Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. David, I will see you again.
This book is dedicated to Ms. Frances Smith, my beautiful mother-in-law who now rests with Jesus Christ in heaven, my wonderful father-in-law Raymond Smith, SR., and my best sister-in-law Jill Smith.
This book is dedicated to those who love and follow our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
MY CONFESSION
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (Mark 16:17–20)
These miracles will follow you if you believe.
Alice Smith beli eved.
ALL THE TESTIMONIES
The testimonies you will read in this book are actual, real testimonies written by the hands of those who experienced God’s miracles, signs, and wonders. The testimonies were not altered or corrected to keep the sanctity of every word that was written from their perspectives to give God all the glory. I praise and give thanksgiving to God for using me in the miracles, signs, and wonders. Just like Peter in Acts 3, the miracles, signs, and wonders were not done through any power I had; the power belongs to God.
And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man walk? The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son, Jesus. (Acts 3:12–13)
Continue to give God glory in all things.
PRAYER
If you do not know the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, pray this prayer with me. Say, Father, I repent and turn from my sins, forgive me of my sin, come into my heart and make me new today. I receive and accept your son Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior today. Thank you, Jesus, for saving me today. In Jesus Christ’s Holy Name, Amen
According to Romans 10:9–10 KJV,
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.

WHAT ARE MIRACLES?

Miracles are supernatural manifestations of God’s power. They are unexplainable by natural or scientific laws.
Acts 2:22
22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
To walk in miracles, like Jesus Christ, you must be first approved of God. This means God has called you, and that you have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. You are in right standing with God. You are obedient to hearing God’s voice and doing what God tells you to do. You love and keep his commandments.
My first miracles occurred when I was in my twenties. I had a passion for seeing my family members—my brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews—saved. I would often pray every day for their salvation. I did not want to see them go to hell. I witnessed to my brothers and, one by one, they received Christ. Did you know that when a person receives the Lord Jesus Christ as savior, this is, in fact, a miracle? This is a supernatural occurrence that manifests a change in a person’s life. Their hardened hearts become supernaturally changed and he/or she turns and becomes a new person: “Therefore if any man be in Christ , he is a new creature : old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new ” (2 Corinth 5:17;). They begin to know Jesus Christ as Savior. This points them to a life of abundance. They are changed from a sinner to a saint! What a marvelous experience. When I realized this, I began to tell my story to the lost and they would receive Christ; all this was by the Holy Spirit. My journey began by telling how the Lord saved me. Now let me tell you, my story.
I was either seven or eight when I began to have these nightmares. I would go to sleep, and something or someone would hold me down and I could not breathe. I would be sweating with water pouring from me because I could not move. When I would call on the name of Jesus, they would let go of me. Afterward, I would be shaking from fear and anxiety. This happened almost every night. I did not understand why this was happening. I would see these dark shadows come into my room at night and then fly past me through the wall. They would come every night around the same time. I would tell my mom what I saw. She never understood or knew what was going on with me. My mother was a widow, and I slept in the room with my mom. I am so glad she did not put me on medication. I remember one time I was told to go into my house and get my clothes which were under the bed in a drawer. As I reached my hand to get them, a dark hand came out and grabbed me. I screamed. I was so shaken that I did not want to go back into the room again. I was afraid to sleep with the lights out. After that occurrence, my mother changed the beds around in the room and had me sleep in the bed with her. I was full of fear and anxiety.
One day, Mom took me to the doctor’s office, and while I was waiting to see the doctor, I noticed a magazine called Highlights . In it was a nice article about a little girl who was my age and in fear, and what she did to overcome her fear. It was my answer. The article said to put scripture in the light fixture face down. In those days, light fixtures were in the ceiling, and you could turn them on by flicking the switch by the door. When I became afraid, I would turn on the light and
