God Makes Our Wonderful World
In the beginning there were no people.
No animals. No trees. No sun. No world at all!
Then God said, “Let there be light!”
“And sea and sky.
“Let there be hills and rivers.
“And sun, moon and stars!
“Let there be fish and birds and all kinds of animals.”
What did God make first? Genesis chapters 1 and 2
God Looks after Noah – and all the Animals
One day God said to Noah, “Build the biggest boat ever!”
So Noah and his family set about building a giant boat.
They sawed and hammered. They hammered and sawed.
And when they’d finished, God said, “Now fill the boat with two of every animal!” So they did!
And when the boat was full, Noah and his family climbed aboard too.
Then it rained so hard that the earth was flooded.
But God kept Noah and his family and all the animals safe in the boat.
Who lived on Noah’s boat? Genesis chapters 6–9
