Hebrews 4:12 World English Bible (WEB)
For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Angel
Wasn’t Abraham our father justified by works, in that he offered up Isaac his son on the altar? 1
The LORD’s angel called to him out of the sky, and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” He said, “Here I am.” 2

Likewise, even as it was in the days of Lot: they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but in the day that Lot went out from Sodom, it rained fire and sulfur from the sky, and destroyed them all. 3
The two angel s came to Sodom at evening. Lot sat in the gate of Sodom. Lot saw them, and rose up to meet them. He bowed himself with his face to the earth, 4

But that the dead are raised, even Moses showed at the bush, when he called the Lord ‘the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’ 5
The LORD’s angel appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the middle of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. 6

Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. The king spoke and said to Daniel, Your God whom you serve continually, he will deliver you. 7
My God has sent his angel , and has shut the lions’ mouths, and they have not hurt me; because as before him innocence was found in me; 8

My shield is with God, who saves the upright in heart. 9
Nebuchadnezzar spoke and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel , and delivered his servants who trusted in him, 10

forsaking the right way, they went astray, having followed the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of wrongdoing. 11
Then the LORD opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the LORD’s angel standing in the way, with his sword drawn in his hand; and he bowed his head, and fell on his face. 12

Therefore, the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin will conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. 13
Now in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man whose name was Joseph, of David’s house. The virgin’s name was Mary. 14

Hasn’t the Scripture said that the Christ comes of the offspring of David, and from Bethlehem, the village where David was?” 15
When the angel s went away from them into the sky, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem, now, and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.” 16

Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden. In the garden was a new tomb in which no man had ever yet been laid. 17
Behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from the sky, and came and rolled away the stone from the door, and sat on it. 18

Now, behold, I release you today from the chains which are on your hand. 19
And behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side, and woke him up, saying, “Stand up quickly!” His chains fell off from his hands. 20

As they went on the way, they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “Behold, here is water. What is keeping me from being baptized?” 21
But an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, “Arise, and go toward the south to the way that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza. This is a desert.” 22

For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised. He also is to be feared above all gods. 23
I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the book, and to break its seals?” 24

Anger
for you shall worship no other god; 25
for the LORD your God among you is a jealous God; lest the anger of the LORD your God be kindled against you, and he destroy you from the face of the earth. 26

for our God is a consuming fire. 27
Who can stand before his indignation? Who can endure the fierceness of his anger ? His wrath is poured out like fire, and the rocks are broken apart by him. 28

For God didn’t appoint us to wrath, but to the obtaining of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 29
But he, being merciful, forgave iniquity, and didn’t destroy them. Yes, many times he turned his anger away, and didn’t stir up all his wrath. 30

You who hear prayer, to you all men will come. 31
I desire therefore that the men in every place pray, lifting up holy hands without anger and doubting. 32

Now the chief priests, the elders, and the whole council sought false testimony against Jesus, that they might put him to death; 33
“But those who are godless in heart lay up anger . They don’t cry for help when he binds them. 34

The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 35
The LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, “The LORD! the LORD, a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger , and abundant in loving kindness and truth,” 36

Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. 37
So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger ; for the anger of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God. 38

Stand in awe, and don’t sin. Search your own heart on your bed, and be still. 39
“Be angry , and don’t sin.” Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil. 40

All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been exercised thereby. 41
LORD, correct me, but gently; not in your anger , lest you reduce me to nothing. 42

and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead—Jesus, who delivers us from the wrath to come. 43
Behold, the day of the LORD comes, cruel, with wrath and fierce anger ; to make the land a desolation, and to destroy its sinners out of it. 44

Out of his mouth proceeds a sharp, double-edged sword, that with it he should strike the nations. 45
Shall they escape by iniquity? In anger cast down the peoples, God. 46

He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away.” 47
For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning. 48

Apostle
Simon, whom he also named Peter; Andrew, his brother; James; John; Philip; Bartholomew; Matthew; Thomas; James, the son of Alphaeus; Simon, who was called the Zealot; Judas the son of James; and Judas Iscariot, who also became a traitor. 49
The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve Apostle s of the Lamb. 50

You shall walk after the LORD your God, fear him, keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and you shall serve him, and cling to him. 51
But Peter and the apostle s answered, “We must obey God rather than men. 52

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. 53
The apostle s gathered themselves together to Jesus, and they told him all things, whatever they had done, and whatever they had taught. 54

The angel answered the women, “Don’t be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus, who has been crucified. 55
With great power, the apostle s gave their testimony of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. Great grace was on them all. 56

Amazement took hold on all, and they glorified God. They were filled with fear, saying, “We have seen strange things today.” 57
Fear came on every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostle s. 58

Continue steadfastly in prayer, watching therein with thanksgiving; 59
They continued steadfastly in the apostle s’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and prayer. 60

“Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you. For with the s
