DEDICATION

This book is dedicated to those who have hurt me and thought that I would never move past, or recover from the hurt and pain that, they have caused in my life but, because of the God I serve. The God who said he would never leave me or forsake me allowed me to continue to Love you even in the midst of your deceit, your backbiting ways. He still allowed me to blossom in more ways than you can imagine. Because. I forgave, and forgive you from the hurt, and pain that was caused to me, my growth and forgiveness toward you have allowed me to be a better human being, Mother, Wife, Leader, Business owner, Author and it’s all because I continue to Love you with all my heart, it’s called the Agape Love that God has graciously endowed me with to Love you. I forgive you with all my heart, in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (1 st Corinthians 13:4-8 NKJV ) allowed me to carry on this legacy scripture Love is patient, love is kind. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
To my mother Rose Booker who moved on to glory January 5, 2022.
Rose Booker was an incredibly wise Mother. She would always remind us of when our father was not sustainable in our life to still do for him, because one day he would need us.
My mother Rose Booker hit the nail on the wall with those words. When my dad became ill, we had to take him food and other necessities. She would also tell us that God forgives us seventy-seven times a day.
My two children Gabrielle and Evans. My Husband Joseph Kornegay who allows my soul to be healed through all our testimonies, and conversations of life trials and tribulations, encouraging one another on moving past our hurts, and pains that we have endured from others, has become healing for our souls.
My Mentor Reverend Yvonne Smith, who has been such a great mentor and inspirer in my Life, such an awesome humble woman of God. A woman of grace, a woman of humility, who has truly been a great supporter on my journey. I pray every-one finds a mentor that can encourage them to higher heights, and to see the God giving gifts that God has placed in them.
INTRODUCTION

Many people may ask, what do you mean that forgiving someone who has hurt you is a gift? Continue to read and you will find your answer to receiving the gift.
FORGIVENESS: is a conscious decision to let go of feelings or resentment and vengeance toward a person or group who has hurt you.
What we must remember those of us who are Christian believers, and who are anchored in the word of God. That in (John 3:16) For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not parish, but have eternal life (NIV).
If you have read the complete story of Jesus crucifixion on the cross, being wrongly accused, and how God allowed his only son to be crucified, and Jesus says forgive them for they know not what they done. What a power story of forgiveness, many of us have been harboring unforgiveness in our hearts for so long that we have no room to forgive.
We often think that because we attend church on Sunday, Wednesday night Bible Study, fasting praying, shouting, or we are on the praise dance ministry, we are ministers of music, laying at the altar surrendering what we want to surrender at the cross is forgiveness, but what about when you leave that place of worship, and you see those who have hurt and crushed your spirit are you still angry with them, you say you’re not upset but, you commence to showing body language by putting your lips up in a negative way, speaking bad about them to someone else. YOU HAVE NOT FORGIVING THEM!!! Y ou have just missed your blessing; you cannot claim forgiveness but really don’t forgive.
Let me tell you action speaks louder than words.
(Matthew 6:15 KJV) But if you forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your father forgive your trespasses.
We all have endured some kind of hurt in our life. But we must continue to push past to receive the blessings Lord has for us. We all have differentlymindsets. We don’t think or act the same way when it comes to people deceiving and hurting us, but one thing I can attest to is that time heals all wounds, when you decide to anchor yourself in the word of God, trust and believe that he will deliver you and make your enemies your foot stool.
I am a living testimony and can testify on many levels about my enemies and how God is continuing to make them my foot stool.
God continues to heal me. Although some of my situations and turmoil has happened in my life many years ago, even some as recent as I write this book. But I continue to trust God that he will continue to move me from glory to glory to help those who need to understand that forgiven those who have hurt you, misused you, and abused you, can receive the blessing the Lord has in store for you.
Start forgiving, because eyes have not seen ears have not heard nor has it entered the hearts of man what God has in-store for you.
You must let go and let God fight the battle of unforgiveness the battle does not belong to you it belongs to the Lord. Stop allowing your mind to overpower your heart, out of the heart flows the issues of life. The heart is a very loving place. The heart is Love. Stop saying you Love if you don’t forgive.
If you do not heal what hurt you, you will continue to bleed on others who did not cut you.
CHAPTER #1

HURT STARTS AT BIRTH!
W hen we are born into this world we come in as different individuals, with different mind sets, different personalities. We all come from different seeds, but from the one and only true and living God!
We are born into a sinful and in perfect world, as we grow from kids, to teenagers, to young adults, men, women, mothers’, fathers, teachers, preachers, and Pastor’s, we will endure hurt, and hurt starts with the birthing process, when women have babies, we go through a birthing process which starts with morning sickness for some of us, we go through a throwing up process, we also go through the different trimesters of the birthing period for nine months, some of us develop different elements during birth, such as high blood pressure, pre diabetics, tremendous weight gain, post-par-tum depression.
Once the nine months have passed it is time to push that baby out, that is when the real pain begins.
We all have arrived here in an imperfect world; as we begin to grow and understand the do, and don’ts of life, we start to see the enemy rare his ugly head.
And as we get older, we are taught some of the do, and don’ts of life, we are taught, what to watch out for. We are taught spiritually to guard our hearts with all diligence. We are taught not to have babies out of wedlock. We are taught to never let anyone abuse us. We are taught the ten commandments.
1. You shall not have any other gods before me. (Stop making man your god)
2. You shall not make idols.
3. You shall not take the name of the LORD your god in vain
4. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
5. Honor your father and your mother.
6. You shall not murder.
7. You shall not commit adultery.
8. You shall not steal.
