Dedication
I believe there are always those special people in our lives that need to be formally addressed to give recognition and thanks for what they contributed to our own personal growth not only spiritually but as individuals.
I’m no different. For this could never have been written without the support, love, and encouragement from my husband, David Kreinbring. He continues to be my champion always giving me the right words to keep me going. I’m so incredibly blessed and thankful; not only for the writing but for the deep conversations we share with one another every day.
To Rick Sodmont, who introduced me to intercession from a prophetic perspective! Wow Rick! Can you believe it? I’ve written for more than 20 years and I have you to thank for that. You blessed me with your words of encouragement and giving meaning to some of the things I saw during our times in intercession during those early years. Though we are far apart in miles, you have remained a close friend and I’m grateful.
To my longtime friend, Julie Cowart, thank you for the hours of intercession and floor time we have shared over the years. Never fails to amaze me in that we may not see each other for years, but we get together and pray and time vanishes. Your dedication has always been an inspiration to me.
To my beautiful friends Al & Marcia Wynn, thank you for allowing us into your home to teach “hearing God’s Voice”. A good portion of this book’s content comes from our evening meetings at your home where all of us grew more and more each week as we sought a deeper revelation of what the Lord was saying to us. We love being a part of each other’s family and count our blessings every day.
The Wave Riders
A book of psalms by Renee M Cote-Kreinbring
It is Sunday morning, we are on our way to fellowship at our local church, we stop to open the gates at the entrance of our farm and the Lord impresses on me to write a book.
“I have never written a book, Lord”, I say and I don’t even know what I would write about. He said, “Write your psalms”, “Psalms, Lord”? “Yes, take your journals and write about the waves.”
I knew exactly what He meant, for the Lord has been talking to me about the waves for 5 years now. These are not ocean waves that we see with the natural eyes, but waves in the spirit, some on the waters, some on vessels, and some merely in the spirit, but regardless of where these waves are seen they all say the same thing. The great awakening has begun. The church is coming out of dormancy and taking her rightful place here on the earth. Not only here in the US, but over the seas and across the countries of the world.
Come with me and be a wave rider!
Introduction
Where does one begin when writing a book? Do we write systematically, randomly, sequentially? I do not know. I am out of my element, I admit. Yes, I know Lord, I am to write. Help me to put the first words down. How do I begin? Do I number each conversation beginning with one, or do I just write one after the other and worry about numbering at a later date?
“Do not worry about numbers, write and I will show you the order later.”
Okay then, I’ll just go for it!
“Good!”
Aw, Lord, do I introduce why I began to write our conversations?
“For those who will read it, it would be good, for they will want to know why, but be careful, Renee. Be transparent and speak truth, for there are others who have also experienced the same things you have.”
Yes, Lord, I will write in total truthfulness. Help me with my words, for I do not want to offend. For what good or value would that be to anyone who might read this.
My journey began back in 2001 in the Intercession room at my church. We were worshipping to some amazing worship songs that took me up into the spirit. I began to see things, pictures, more like movies that were filled with people and events that were open to all who dared enter in. This was foreign to me, I didn’t know bible verses nor did I know what book in the bible that might have a passage to go with what I was seeing. But it was so vivid with descriptive events, filled with color and metaphoric symbolism, it was so very clear, I wanted to share it but there didn’t seem to be an opening. So my vision was left to myself. This continued for many weeks. In fact, it continued until 2004. I was frustrated. I didn’t know what to do. Why was I feeling I was being dismissed? So I asked the Lord, what should I do?
My visions were accepted and sought out when I was in the mission field, but my home church had no room for me. I remember my associate pastor saying to me, that he understood and it was why he did not share. This perplexed me initially, but I knew what he meant, for we had been on a mission trip together and he received visions as I did. His visions were profound and accepted during each of the meetings we attended. Yet at home he was quiet, never uttering a word or sharing the things he was seeing in the spirit.
I thought about quitting the intercession times at the church, but I could not. There had to be a way. I sat before the Lord and asked again, “What can I do, Lord? They do not appear to want to know what I have. I continue to feel dismissed, yet I truly believe You are speaking to me and You want to be heard?”
I then heard Him say, “Write it down”.
I immediately looked up the words in the bible, “write it down”, and found my scripture reference and my clear directive. I was elated! My journey in writing it down began the very next day. I felt liberated! I no longer had to carry His words nor lay them down without ever giving voice to them!
Habakkuk 2: 1-3
1)
I will stand my watch

And set myself on the rampart,

And watch to see what He will say to me,

And what I will answer when I am corrected.
2)
Then the Lord answered me and said:

“Write the vision

And make it plain on tablets,

That he may run who reads it.
3)
For the vision is yet for an appointed time;

But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.

Though it tarries, wait for it;

Because it will surely come,

It will not tarry”

This verse has become my life verse and one I live by and encourage others to do the same. For me, from that day on I have written my conversations with the Lord keeping a journal of my discussions whether they are a few words or many words. They are precious to me. Some are directed to me personally, while others are for the whole body of Christ. Those for the body I share, while those for me personally, I keep and learn from them always in pursuit of being more like Him.
I will forever be grateful to the intercessors at my previous home church. Had they afforded me permission to speak, I would not have found my pen and paper to write the visions given me. Those visions which are so important to the body of Christ would have been left to a one time verbal release to those in the room. God had such a bigger plan for His messages. He was just waiting for me to realize it. So now, I write these visions for you that many more can hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying. Let the Lord give you visuals during your reading and may He grant you even more insight into what He has to say.
