In this book, we’re going to talk about some fun science experiments. So, let’s get right to it!
Exploding experiments and experiments that fizzle are fun to do at home or at school. There should always be one or two trained adults supervising you when you do experiments. Make sure everyone is wearing safety goggles before you begin your experiments. Stand far away from the experiment if you expect it to explode!

Experiment 1
Steps to Take
Carve your pumpkin faces, but instead of taking the pieces out leave them in so they can be pushed out when the explosion happens inside the pumpkin. It works best if the pieces are relatively large like large circle or triangle or square eyes.
Step One
Step two
Carve a small hole out in the back of each pumpkin. This is where you will light the pumpkin.
