B EFORE Y OU B EGIN Installing The Batteries Step 1. Release the battery cover by pressing the tab. Then tilt the cover upward. Step 2. Install two “AAA” batteries as shown. Be sure to match the +/-signs on the batteries with the +/- marks inside the case. Look in the codes chart for your TV, VCR, DVD, Cable Box, and Satellite Receiver brand codes. Step 2 . Press and hold the TV , VCR , CABLE , DVD , SAT (Satellite) , or AUX (Auxiliary) mode key while entering a three-digit code number. Then release the mode key. If the code was accepted, the Activity Activity Lamp Lamp will flash 5 times after the Mode Keys RESET POWER Mode key is released. If you entered VCR TV CABLE an invalid code, the Activity Lamp DVD SAT AUX will will not flash. Check the code number and repeat Step 2. The VCR , TV , Cable Box , DVD , and Satellite accept only each mode’s specific code type. The AUX mode will accept all code types, but only Perform Steps 1 and 2 for each piece of equipm After entering each code number check the unit’s pressing the Power and/or Channel keys. If these your equipment, you have probably entered the number for that device. If not, follow Steps 1 an another code, if available. VCR CODE SATELLITE CODE TV CODE DVD CODE CABLE BOX CODE AUX CODE O PERATING T HE R EMOTE C ONTROL This remote control has six operating modes. To select a mode, press and release the mode key that matches the unit you want to control, TV, VCR, Cable Box, DVD Player, or Satellite Receiver . (The AUX mode can be programmed to operate any of these devices.) O PERATING T IPS AND T ROUBLESHOOTING H INTS – To operate each device ( VCR , TV , Cable Box , DVD Player , or Satellite Receiver ), you must first program the remote control, then press the proper mode key. The VCR, TV, and DVD modes are preprogrammed with Sanyo codes. – Some manufacturers use many different codes. If your brand of equipment has more than one code listed, try programming your remote with the different available codes until you locate the correct one for your device. – There may be VCRs, TVs, DVDs, Cable Converter Boxes, and Satellite Receivers that this remote control cannot operate. Some models may operate only partially. – The Reset and Caption keys only operate Sanyo TVs. – Codes will remain in memory for five minutes as you replace batteries. – Remove batteries from the remote control if it will not be used for a month or more. Weak batteries may leak and damage the remote control. – This remote control uses an invisible (infrared) beam of light to operate the equipment. Objects between the equipment and the remote control can block the beam of light. Therefore, the remote control must be pointed directly at the equipment you want to operate. – This remote control cannot add keys or features to your equipment. Your equipment’s manufacturer must have originally provided them. – When switching from the VCR or DVD mode to the TV mode, the VCR/DVD specific control keys will continue to operate the last device (mode) selected. For example, when switching from DVD to TV mode, the VCR/DVD control keys will continue to function as DVD keys. – Replace the batteries if the remote control fails to operate any of your equipment. Be sure to install batteries correctly. – Many of the remote control keys are multi-functional. Refer to the chart on the inside of the carton for a brief description of the keys and their functions. Refer to your original operating manuals for specific feature operation .

Des objets se trouvant entre la télécommande et l’appareil peuvent bloquer le faisceau lumineux. C’est pourquoi il est important de pointer la télécommande directement sur l’appareil que vous désirez opérer. – Cette télécommande ne peut pas ajouter de touches ou de fonctions à votre équipement. Les fonctions sont celles fournies par le fabricant original de l’équipement. – Lorsque vous passez du mode VCR ou DVD au mode TV les boutons de commandes VCR/DVD continueront à commander le dernier équipement choisi. Par exemple, lorsque vous passez du mode DVD au mode TV, les boutons de commandes VCR/DVD continueront de fonctionner comme des commandes de DVD. – Remplacez les piles si la télécommande ne fonctionne pas. B IENVENUE DANS L ’ UNIVERS DE S ANYO Nous vous remercions d’avoir acheté un télécouleur Sanyo. Vous avez fait un choix excellent du point de vue du fonctionnement du style, de la fiabilité et du rapport qualité/prix. A VANT DE COMMENCER Installation des plies Étape 1 – Ouvrez la porte du compartiment à piles en appuyant sur la languette et en soulevant le couvercle. Étape 2 – Installez 2 piles AAA tel que le montre l’illustration. Les signes + et - des piles doivent correspondre à Appuyez sur la languette ceux de l’intérieur de la et soulevez le couvercle télécommande. Remarque : N’utilisez pas en même temps des piles usagées et des piles neuves, ni des piles de types différents. PROGRAMMATION DE LA TÉLÉCOMMANDE Étape 1 – Consultez le tableau des codes pour trouver les codes des marques de votre téléviseur, magnétoscope, lecteur DVD, décodeur de câble et récepteur satellite. Étape 2 – Appuyez et gardez le doigt sur le bouton Mode TV, VCR , CABLE , DVD , SAT (satellite) ou AUX (auxiliaire) en entrant le code à trois chiffres. Lâchez le bouton Mode. Si le code est accepté le voyant Voyant lumineux Activity lumineux Activity se mettra à Touches de RESET POWER clignoter 5 fois lorsque le bouton mode VCR TV CABLE Mode aura été relâché. Si le code DVD SAT AUX saisi est incorrect, le voyant lumineux Activity ne clignotera pas. Vérifiez le code et répétez l’étape 2. Les modes VCR, TV, CABLE, DVD, et SAT que des codes spécifiques à chaque mode. Le mode AUX acceptera tous les types de codes, fois seulement. Exécutez les étapes 1 et 2 pour chaque appareil q Après avoir composé le numéro de code, fonctionnement de l’appareil en appuyant sur POWER et-ou CHANNEL . Si ces touches fon votre équipement, vous avez probablement co numéro de code pour cet appareil. Sinon, repren et entrez un autre code s’il y en a de disponible. Après avoir programmé la télécommande et vérifié son fonctionnement, inscrivez vos codes dans les boîtes données ci-dessous afin de pouvoir y faire facilement référence. Code du téléviseur : Code magnétoscope : Code boîte de télé par câble : Code de lecteur de vidéodisque : Code récepteur de satellite : _________________ Code auxiliaire : NOM DU DISPOSITIF ICI M ODE D ' EMPLOI DE LA TÉLÉCOMMANDE Cette télécommande a six modes de fonctionnement. Pour choisir un mode, appuyez une fois sur le bouton qui correspond à l'appareil que vous désirez contrôler, soit la télévision, le magnétoscope, le cablosélecteur, le lecteur de DVD ou le récepteur satellite. (Le mode AUX peut être programmé pour commander chacun de ces appareils.) C ONSEILS PRATIQUES ET DÉPANNAGE – Pour opérer chaque dispositif périphérique (magnétoscope, téléviseur, décodeur de câble, lecteur DVD ou récepteur satellite), il faut commencer par programmer la télécommande. Les modes VCR, TV, et DVD ont été préprogrammés aux codes Sanyo. – Certains fabricants ont plusieurs codes différents. Si la marque de votre équipement comporte plusieurs codes, essayez-les un à un jusqu’à ce que vous ayez trouvé le code qui fonctionne pour votre dispositif. – Il peut y avoir des magnétoscopes, téléviseurs, décodeurs de câble, lecteurs DVD ou récepteurs satellite que cette télécommande ne peut pas opérer. Certains modèles sont susceptibles de fonctionner partiellement seulement. – Les touches Reset (remise) et Caption (sous-titrage) ne fonctionnent qu’avec les téléviseurs Sanyo. – Les codes seront gardés en mémoire pendant cinq minutes seulement lorsque vous changez les piles. – Sortez les piles de la télécommande si vous ne prévoyez pas l’utiliser pendant un mois ou plus. Les piles usées peuvent subir une fuite et endommager la télécommande.
