Annales de Géographie - Année 1967 - Volume 76 - Numéro 418 - Pages 671-680Geography and under-development Geography and under-development (Abstract.) — The author studies the problem of the position of geography in relation to the essen-tially économie problem of under-development. The broad concept, in its most accepted sensé, seems to him to be insufficient for it does not fall within any spécial geographical field. A narrower définition brings it within the scope of the geographical science of land utilisation and landscapes. The two-fold geographical aspect of under-development is briefiy analysed in its various forms.
