Eight Facts About The

One of the most disturbing chapters in the entire Bible is also one that gives us various explicit details about theantichrist. The chapter I’m referring to is Rev elation 13. In that chapter, the antichrist is symbolically represented as abeastwith 10 horns and 7 heads which is first seen as coming out of the sea.

Fact 1

T he dragon, which is also thedevilin Revelation (12:9; 20:2), gives the beast hispow er, throne and great authority(13:2).T his fact is very significant, that is,the antichrist gets his pow er and authority from thedevil himself.

Fact 2

T he whole world willfollowthe beast or antichrist:

One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The w hole w orld w as astonished and follow ed the beast. (Rev 13:3)

It seems that the reason why the whole world fol lowed the antichrist was because 1 of his 7 heads was healed of a fatal wound.

Fact 3

T he world’s society as a whole, at that time, will be so sinful that people willknowinglythe devilw orship because they learn it was the devil (thedragon) who gave hisauthorityto the antichrist:

M enthe dragonw orshiped becausehe had given authority to the beast, and they alsow orshiped the beastho is like the beast? W ho canand asked, “W make war against him?” (Rev 13:4)

This proves there w ill be no w orldw ide revival that w ill usher in the Lord’s return.also shows This the predominant spiritual future of America, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the rest of the world, that is,Satan worshipandidolatry.Satan w orshipwill be open and the norm during the reign of the antichrist.Imagine a so ciety like that.

Fact 4

T heproudandblasphemousantichrist will exercise hisreign of terror for 42 months,that is, 31/2 years:

T he beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise his authority for fortytw o months.(Rev 13:5)

His rule will beendedwhen the Lord Jesus returns. In Rev 19:19,20 we read of this where the Lord Jesus is referred to asthe rider on the horse:

T hen I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together tow ar make against the rider on the horse and his army. But the beast was captured, and with him thefalse prophet w ho had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. W ith these signs he had de luded those w ho had received the m ark of the beast and w orshiped his imagehe two of them. T were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.

Hence, the antichrist and the false prophet are con quered by the Christ and thrown alive, intothe fiery lake of burning sulfur. That will occur exactly42 months afterhe begins his reign.

Fact 5

One of the most shocking and terrifying verses in the entire B ible for Christians is Rev 13:7, which says:

anceon the part of the saints who obey God’s commandments andremain faithful to Jesus.

T he antichrist will have a man promoting his pop ularity and reign known asthe false prophet.He will actually performmiraculoussigns anddeceive multi tudes by his miracles. Rev 13:14 says:

H e was given power to make er to doBecause of the signs he w as given pow w ar against the on behalf of the first beast, hedeceivedthe in saints and to conquer them.And he was given habitants of the earth. He ordered them to set up an authority overevery tribe, people, language and image in honor of the beast who was wounded by nation. the sword and yet lived. Fact 6

T he saints will either bekilledor go intocaptivity. Rev 13:10 says:

If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity he will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword he will be killed.This calls for pa tient endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints.

Especially the saints then, who face the antichrist, will have topatiently endure persecutions and be faithful to God. The rapture w ill not save them from the antichrist.Furthermore,if they take the mark of the beast,ill lose their salvation,they w based on Rev 14:912, which says:

A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice:If anyone w orships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, he, too, will drink of the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath.H e w ill be tormented w ith burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day o r night for those w ho w orship the beast and his image, or for anyone w ho receives the mark of his namehis calls for. T he false prophet is the one who willforceall peo ple to receive themark of the beastin order to buy or sell. T hat mark will be on the right hand or forehead of the recipients. T hat mark is also the same as thenameof the beast or thenumberof his name:

He alsoforcedeveryone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark onhis right hand or on his forehead, so thatno one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name. This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him cal culate the number of the beast, for it is man’s num ber. His number is 666. (Rev 13:1618)

Is The Mark Of The Beast Out Now In May 2012?

Absolutely not. How can we be sure?can stillW e buy and sell w ithout any kind of mark on either our right hand or forehead. Furthermore, receiving that mark is also associated withw orshipingthe antichrist or his statue, which also didn’t happen yet. Remember the fate of the antichrist. Both he and the false prophet will be thrown alive intohristthe lake of burning sulfur.
